Reader's POV:
There were to many questions running through Nymaira's head to even process.

She watched with confused eyes as the man lay there. Bleeding out heavily from his neck. She looked at Jon, unsure what to say or do.

But she felt the fear raise through her body. It wasn't even a full minute gone by before there was another arrow. An now another man down from his horse.

"Stay with me." Jon clenched the helm of his sword and got down from his horse. It was then they emerged.

At least a dozen people were running straight towards the small group with swords and daggers raised.

Within seconds the unseen battle had begun. Half of the attackers were up front fighting the rest of the group.  The men who had come along were going down fast. Only 3 had remained. About half of the attackers fought upfront. While the other half had set they're eyes on Nymaira, Jon, and Sandor.

Jon began fighting two men at once. taking them down easily. Sandor did what he did best, cutting down the attackers with skill. It was then one of the remaining men made his way over to Nymaira.

Swinging his sword, aiming for her body. Dodging, Nymaria jumped back at the blow. Haven grabbed her small sword, she was ready to fight. But before she could, Sandor grabbed her by the arm, tossing her behind him in a protective manner.

"Stay behind me!" was all he was said before meeting swords with one particular man. Wanting to hold her own, Nymaria didn't waste anytime swiftly turning her body around and plunging her sword into lunging
man's chest.

Piercing straight through his heart. She noticed the dark blood when she withdrew the steel from his body.

She looked over. Watching Sandor do the same with his own sword. The two shared a glance while he looked at the now dead man on the floor. He nodded his approval but it was a short lived moment after Nymaira caught sight of horses. or lack there of. The first horse was injured past the point of recovery. While some had been spooked off, There remained two. Silvermain and Stranger.

"Fucking hell!" She huffed walking over to the hurt horse. kneeling down to comfort the poor thing. "I'm sorry."

Nymaria apologized as she softly stroked the horse is main. Doing her best to make it feel better given the situation. Then came another unpleasant surprise. Sandor sword quickly met the skull of the horse. Putting the animal out of it's misery.

"What in seven hells Sandor?" She yelled looking up at him. "Oh quiet. It had to be done. Now get up. Before more cunts come pouring out from those woods."

She looked straight knowing he was right. But still annoyed by the harsh way of going about it.

Nymaria raised her body. She made her way back to Silvermain. But stopped in her tracks seeing Jon and the remaining man left. They had already mounted the steed. "Two horses, four people, and you've never seen Clegane work well with other soldiers. If I know him he won't share."

Nymaria raised her eyebrow looking at Jon. "We just lost some good men. we don't need to lose another." Jon patted the shoulder of the man behind him looking back at you. "You get my point." He raised an eyebrow and she understood.

"Come on little bird, time to fly." She heard Sandor say behind her. Nymaira turned to glare at his annoying nickname for her. But rather then argue, she walked the small distance to Stranger and was pulled up by Clegane.

She was slung up on the horse as her chest pressed into his back. Now for the second time that day, the journey began for castle black. only this time, with fewer men. Could anything else go wrong? Nymaira thought. Placing her cheek on the back of Sandor while her arms wrapped around his waist.

Forgive me. This was an extremely short and shitty chapter but I promise I'm going somewhere with it.
