I told you that I wasn't Perfect (Camren)

Chapter 10

The rest of the week went by fairly quickly except for Friday. Friday was the day Camila was going on a date with Lauren right after school.

Lauren said it would be a surprise to where they were going. So Camila had no idea what they were doing or where they were going.

Camila sat patiently through each class waiting to go with Lauren after school. She was nervous yet very excited.

Finally, the bell rang for them to go home. Since Lauren was in Camila's last class they went directly to Lauren's car.

"Alright, we're in the car. Now will you tell me where we're going?" Camila asked.

"Nope, you'll just have to wait and see," Lauren laughed.

There was silence in the car for a few minutes before Camila broke it.

"Lauren, remember that time when you said there was banana on my face?" Camila asked her girlfriend.

"Yes why?" Lauren asked.

"Because I didn't even eat a banana that day, so I don't know why there would be banana on my face," Camila said.

"Oh, uhm. I can explain that," Lauren said blushing.

"Alright then explain yourself," Camila said with a big smile.

"Well uhm, you see there actually wasn't anything in your face. I-I was actually going to kiss you. I-I really liked you and I didn't want to ruin our friendship by going to f-fast and making you uncomfortable. A-and that's also when I thought you were straight and I-" Lauren was interrupted by Camila's lips.

Luckily they were at a stop light, or else they might have crashed.

"You talk to much sometimes too Jauregui," Camila said smiling after she released Lauren's lips.

Lauren just smiled at grabbed her girlfriend's hand until they go to their destination.

They finally got to a big building. Camila was confused as to what Lauren brought her here for.

"Go-Karts," Lauren said smiling at Camila.

*Camila's Pov*

Lauren seriously brought me to drive Go-Karts on our first date? Wow this is brilliant, it's going to be so much fun! This is so exciting, I haven't driven a Go-Kart since I was about 10 or 11. Lauren is actually the best girlfriend anyone could ask for. I think I might love her. I know it's been about a week since we've been official and this is our first date, but I've known her for about a month. I had a crush on her basically the whole time Ive known her. And I think I might love her, but then again I was the one who told her I liked her. Maybe I should let her say I love you first.

*No ones Pov*

Lauren and Camila went inside of the Go-Kart building. Lauren bought her and Camila a wristband that let them go on any track in or outside of the building for 2 hours.

There were only 6 tracks but they were all different.

They decided to get individual karts, so they can race each other.

Lauren got a black one with the number 27 on it. Camila got a white one with the number 3 on it.

They first went to one of the medium tracks. They were racing with a few other people and Lauren ended up getting second place and Camila got third.

There was a very large track and you could either do couples racing or individual racing.

Lauren and Camila decided to do the couples racing, so they were placed in one cart together and they raced other couples.

They were racing against three other couples.

"On your marks.. get set... GO!!" the announcer screamed.

And they were off, Camila and Lauren were in second place and slowly peaking up to the couple in first place.

They only had one lap to go and they were catching up to them. Then they were super close to them. Lauren pulled up to the right of the go-kart and their cart slowly started going behind Lauren and Camila's. And they won!

"It looks like we have a winner! The winner will receive a coupon for one free large pizza and 2 drinks at Antonio's pizzeria," the announcer said over the speaker.

He gave Lauren and Camila their coupon for the pizza. Lauren looked at at and realized it expired exactly two months from that day.

"We have 2 months until this expires," Lauren said to her small girlfriend.

"Perfect," Camila said kissing her girlfriend on the lips.

"okay, next up dinner," Lauren said.

Their time was up anyway, so Lauren and Camila got into Lauren's car.

Lauren started there car and started making what way to their new destination.

Camila assumed that their new destination would be the pizza place they just got the coupon for, but she was so wrong.

Lauren pulled up into a fancy restaurant that's name was in French. She wasn't sure if it was fancy at all, but she assumed it was because it was in cursive French letters.

"Lauren this place looks a little fancy and we're both wearing school clothes," Camila said.

"Well it's not that fancy. And anyway I reserved a private room so no one will see us anyway," Lauren said.

"Oh okay," Camila said with a smile.

They walked into the restaurant and Lauren told the person at the front desk the reservation name. They took Camila and Lauren into a room near the back of the restaurant.

"This place is so cool," Camila said.

"Only the best for my girl," Lauren said with a cheesy smile.

"Why did you do all of this?" Camila asked.

"Well because, I really like you and I want this to work. Forever," Lauren said.

They finished eating dinner, and they went on their way home.

Camila thanked Lauren for dinner, and they kissed goodnight.

*Lauren's Pov*

I really wanted to tell Camila that I love her. I got to nervous. I think I want to do something super special when I tell Camila I love her for the first time. Maybe I'll use this pizza coupon ...
