//HUMAN AU//
PolarisPOV

I placed my head on Spencer's shoulder, holding her hand, and rubbed my own against the soft dark skin of her arm.

I looked up at her.

I sighed, looking at her soulless pale eyes. I know she barely sees anything right.

The intense light of the sun makes everything look so much brighter. It must hurt her eyes so much..

"You're sure you don't want any sunglasses?" I asked.

"Ye, I'm sure." She answered.

The way her luscious lips moved with every word she'd say captivated me.

We watched the sun come up slowly, in front of the school building.

I felt her run her hand through my short blonde hair, and accidentally tug on one of my earrings.

"I'm sorry- did I do that?" She asked, with a guilty look.

"Yeah, but it's fine! I'm fine." I answered quickly.
I hope she isn't too worried.

SpencerPOV

Damn she's cute.

With her short denim jacket and black tank top underneath, her cleavage was hidden by the shade.

She liked to roll her baggy jeans up, too.
She has hairy legs, but I'm alright with that. I wish she'd wear shorts more often; so I can see the whole picture.

Man.

Why do I have to be so damn gay? I hate that about me.

I looked at my red sweatshirt, dusting it off.
There's a lot of dust around here, I guess.

A few students started walking up our block. I can see small white figures from far away. They only look white because of the light..I really can't see very good.

More importantly, Polaris stood up.

Before my eyes got this way, I can remember what Polaris looked like, sort of.

Her skin was pale, but she had a slight yellow tan on her arms and forehead. I remember that it looked cute.

Her black winged eyeliner is PERFECT-

oh golly.

Why am I always going in about the way she looks? I just can't stop looking her up and down. Some people wonder if I'm actually her friend, or a stalker.

I consider myself as both, but..I guess I'm kind of like her girlfriend.

People just don't know it yet.

I stood up with her, guarding her from those hood rats that walked through the main hall.

A few of them try to talk to her. I just push them away before she makes eye contact.

"Why are you doing this? We aren't supposed to act like this with people were gonna go to CLASS with!" She asked me.
