Gai and Naruto are the only ones who didn't know about Kakashi and Obito's relationship for a long time. Not that Obi and Kashi officially announced it, but most people just figured it out after spending more or less five minutes with them. Besides, they live together, flirt and a few konoha's caught them on explicit circumstances, but it wasn't big deal to them as they weren't even entirely surprised. Even Rock Lee noticed a little and confirmed his suspicions. Naruto and Gai were completely blind to it as they never expected them to like guys for real.
They were VERY shocked when they found out (or more likely, been told about it).
