CH.2 Escape

The guards drag both of us through the hall like ragdolls.

"Sorry Reeve. It was all my fault. I pressed the button and now both of us are paying for my mistake." I look down.

"No. Its okay. If I didnt want to get in trouble I wouldve stayed in my stall."

We pass the last hall getting close to our stalls.

They open Reeves stall and push her in there.
I know Im next.
They push me forward. I close my eyes in guilt. Ready to be thrown.

I feel like I took to many steps upword. I open my eyes to see that Im turning a corner at the same direction they took that girl to get Mutated and tortured!!!

I squirm and back up right when we went to the third to last door on the right!
"Please! No no no! Ill be good! Dont!!!" I feel a tear drop down from my eye and I know, the feelings worse than the thought.

They taze me till I stopped moving.

The room smelled the same but with more of a flame smell. The walls, floor, and roof were made of black marble. It looked scary.
There were plenty computers and cells all empty. The thing that caught my eye the most was the giant tank of green ooz.

The guards drag me to cell of my own.

They slam the gate and locked it.
I close my eyes and sigh, getting ready for tears when-

"Wow. And how did you get in here so quick?" I open my eyes.

"Its me. The girl who gave you that key card. Tell me. Were you the reason the alarm was set off last night?"

I sigh.

"Yes, I failed. Now I am paying the consequences for listening to anothe thinking I will get outa here." I start to tear up.

"Look. Kid. You did not fail. Its okay. Ill just make up a new plan."

"Hey. I didnt catch your name." I exclaim.

"Its... Kristen, but call me Kri."

"I am Shado."

"Tell me... What got 'cha in here?"

I sigh again.

"I-I let a girl out to help me and once I did... I leaned against the wall and hit the alarm...." I hesitated.

She growls.
"My perfect plan got messed up by you hitting that alarm!?"

I look down in failure.
"I am so sorry..." I respond.

The conversation ended when a guard came over to my cage and opened it. I back up against the wall.
The guard grabs me by the arm and carries me over his shoulder.
I kick and squirm, but nothing seemed to effect him.
I continue anyway knowing it is hopeless when I feel a sharp pain on my shoulder. It was a dart. It made me dizzy at first. Things turn to blurs.. then... Darkness.....
