"He has strange markings on his arm, his body seems to be malnourished. His breath is hard and labored, blood or something seems to be leaking from those odd marks." Jim heard someone say, the translator chip in his ear buzzing. The entire crew wore ear piece chips in their ears to translate other languages; each individual person had a piece to match their skin tone.
"It looks self inflicted from the research I have done with human behavior. Commonly found with the mental disorders Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Schizophrenia, hallucination disorders, and many more." A woman replied to the first man. Jim fluttered his eyes, taking quick flashes of what his surroundings were.
"Mhm.." Jim murmured, trying to flex his fingers. Fear coursed through his body as he noticed he couldn't, his feet were seemingly detached from his body. He jerked, his body yanking on the binds holding him down.
"Easy easy." The woman whispered, moving closer beside Jim. He squinted, rays of sunlight peeking through the branches. Jim was laying on his back, a wooden stretcher beneath his body. Vines bound his hands and legs, restricting circulation to those limbs.
"Why- why am I being kept here? Where's my crew?" Jim stammered, looking around at the jungle surrounding. The woman beside him had a light green skin tone, her eyes a mixture of black and gold. She had long, black, curly hair down just below her shoulders. Her expression was soft, gentle while she looked at the starship captain.
"You are here because we do not know who you are, what species you are. We speak Klanolian incase you were wondering, I can see your earpiece. Mine is programmed to English. Your crew is around in the same way you are, none are dead." She informed him, taking an alien scanner to his head. Jim winced, watching as the scanner rotated around his head.
"My name is James T Kirk, I am the captain of the Starship Enterprise. Please, call me Jim or Kirk." Jim told her, trying to move his head to face her. She untied the vines that were loosely containing his neck and let him move a little.
"My name is Margaux. I am our leaders niece, not of any importance in our culture. I have one child, but he was taken from me long ago. It is how our culture states. If the mother is unwed and a child is born, the child must be placed elsewhere." She introduced, giving Jim a small insight look as to how the culture worked.
"I'm sorry for the misfortune that has been brought to you." Jim consoled, his gaze lowering down. A pendant was tattooed onto her forearm, a name in the Klanolian just underneath it. "Is that the child's name?"
"Yes. His name was Straken. Anyway, that is far too much information about me. Can you ask me why those injuries on your arm are there? When you arrived I studied humans, usually that is only there when a human feels bad enough to inflict severe pain upon themselves." Margaux pointed out, gently beginning to untie Jim just a little more.
"I have PTSD and depression." Jim simply stated, sitting up slowly once his arms were untied. He had no intent of leaving the presence of Margaux, she was a quite attractive woman. Jim didn't like to distinguish by dating only the human race, to him it's really the personality. Not the one night stands, but the attempted relationships.
"I am sorry." Margaux apologized, bowing her head slightly in sympathy. He shrugged, flashing a small smile. "You are from space?"
"Planet Earth, quite a while away. I work for StarFleet." Jim explained, studying her light green face for clues of emotions. She didn't have any yet, no new ones that is.
"So it is... the entirety of our species has nominated me to be the traveler aboard your ship. Having a child before marriage is punishable by banishment, but by being the niece of our leader, I was sentenced to leave the planet next time travelers came. I will give you back your communication devices to use." Margaux rambled, quickly untying Jim's legs. She reached behind her, clasping the communicator.
"My crew?" Jim asked, rotating the small communicator in his hands. Margaux nodded, getting out a sheet of paper.
"Your crew will be returned with you, all peaceful. Just leave the planet." She read aloud, smiling at Jim. He half smiled back, real smiles were hard to come by for him. "I want to help you too Jim, with this."
She gently ran her hand on the cuts, smiling softly. She gently placed her lips on the fine lines, bowing her head in respect. Margaux smiled again, watching as Jim felt more relaxed. "Kirk to Enterprise. Scotty, beam up the entire away mission crew. Along with the woman around me."
"Good to hear your voice captain! We were getting worried after the radio silence!" Scotty exclaimed, the familiar beams of the transporter surrounding Jim and Margaux. The transporter room was soon in sight, Doctor McCoy there immediately for any injuries.
Jim's cuts were showing to everyone on the mission; they all avoided eye contact with Jim. Margaux continued to keep her head bowed, trying to show that she was peaceful and would willingly go anywhere.
"Well, this will be good." Scotty stated, looking at Jim and Margaux's state. She still had her hand on his cuts, he still lay on the floor. Scotty was right, this would be good.

Hey! Sorry this took a little bit and was rushed, it wasn't my best. I'm trying to finish up a bunch of stuff so I am so busy! Hope you all enjoyed and liked Margaux! It's pronounced 'Margo' by the way. Margaux and Jim are the new 'couple' thing, but do not worry, the love will not save him immediately. Anywho, feel free to comment and vote! I love to hear from you!
