Theme Song

So when I heard this song I immediately new it fit this story very well so to me its kind of like the books theme song.

The song is called Coming Down by Halsey. She's one of my favs and I love this song,but let me tell you what the song means to the book.

Okay so when you listen to the song the first little sentence is.

I found God I found him in a lover.

Then it talks about how his hair is and his hands.

I found God doesn't really stand for anyone yet. I've ponderd on who this could stand for but I just don't really think anyone is close to this except maybe Aaron but I wasn't sure because I already know who Aaron is going to end up with in the book 😉no spoilers tho.

And he's not really anything close to a God.

Okay so the next line that goes with the story is...

I found the Devil

I decided this would stand for Zane.

Next is the chorus when it says..

I've got a lover a love like religion.

So the lover is Travis. Since Y/n and Travis were obviously lovers before he met aphmau and stuff so he stands for Lover.

So after the Chorus ends the next line is...

I found a Martyr.

This stands for Laurance.

So if you don't know what a Martyr is its a person that was killed for there religion. And I thought it made sense since Laurance is a shadow knight sooooo yeah.

Okay the next thing is...

I found a Savior.

This stands for Garroth. Since after she says that it says I don't think he remembers. Which to me is like he went to the Irene dimension and doesn't know what happened when he was gone.

I hope that makes sense.
