Chapter 10

Your POV

I fly home and open the door to a dark room. I take off my armor and slowly set it down. I close the door and walk into my room where I see an empty cat bed.

I left my cat with Luna I never thought she liked animals but she was super excited about watching over him for a while.

I walk around my room and grab stuff to pack for the trip. I grab my saddle bag and put everything in there. I close my door to my room after I leave it.

I walk into my kitchen and grab an apple off the counter. I put it in my bag and I leave my house.

I walk to the train station with a poker face. Some people said hi to me and I put on a fake smile and say hello back.

I finally make it to the station and sit down on a bench. I look down and frown as let my hair cover my eyes in shade. I sigh and shake my head.

I put a fake smile on my face. "It's fine. Everything is fine." I say trying to convince myself. I hear the train horn from afar. I fly up slightly and land on my hooves. I see the train screech to a stop.

The door opens and I let people walk out first. After the last pony walks out I walk in and sit down. I grab my book from my bag and start to read. I might get a headache later but that's ok.

-After the train ride-

"Ok so where is this guy?" I asked myself. I continue to trot to the crystal empire. As the town came into view I saw Cadence standing by the entrance.

"Oh! Hello Y/N!" She says. I nod "Hello Cadance" I say nicely but without a smile. "Ok so I'm pretty sure Celestia said you might be his assistant for a while so I'll just guide you to his place" she says kindly.

She takes me to a crystal home with a wizard hat on top. "Here we are!" She says smiling. "This is as far as I will take you, I need to watch over to empire" she says kindly and flys off. "Good luck" she yells. I sigh and knock on the door.

I hear stuff fall over and a voice. "Ugh! God damnit!" He yells. Oh gosh this is gonna be a while. I try not to laugh as I hear this. I hear the door unlock and a unicorn comes into view.

He blushes "O-Oh! Hello! You must be my new assistant!" He says rubbing his neck. "My names Sunburst" he says opening the door more for me. I faked a smile "Names Y/N" I say looking around.

"Do you know where I can put my stuff?" I say gesturing to my bag. "Oh! Um. I guess you can put it in my room. I don't exactly have a guest room" he says blushing more. "So does that mean I have to sleep in the same bed as you?" I ask.

"Oh! Ah- you d-Don't have to! I could sleep on the couch!" He says stuttering. I giggle a bit. "You seem like a gentleman so I won't mind" I say. He sighs in relief. "Ok! So you don't need to do much, there's just somethings I need you to try for me, the side affects might take a while so that's why your staying with me" he explains to me.

I nod. I walk into the room where I think his bedroom is. The room was a bit dark but there was still light. I see a bed in the middle of the room against the wall. There was a few books on one side which means he must sleep on that side. I set my bag down against the wall by the door. This is going to be fun! Note the sarcasm.
