Chapter 26

Your pov

I growled and stretched my wings. I look over at Sombra.

"Ready to beat some ass?" I asked him.

He smirks and nods. His eyes turn red again and the the green fog around his eyes grew larger. He began sprinting in the castle as I begin to fly. It's a bit choppy but nothing I can't handle. I've been flying my whole life, a robotic wing isn't going to stop me.

I fly up to the part of the castle that exploded. I fly through a window and begin coughing. I see ink like figures crawling across the floors. I spot a pony in a corner surrounded by the ink beings. I swoop down and grab the pony. They scream but calm down once I put them outside. I set them on one of the balconies of a different part of the castle.

I fly in again and save some more ponies. I look around and the ink ponies are multiplying quickly.

"(Y/N)!!" I hear my name being called.

I turn around to see Celestia. "Are you alright? I heard about what happened! What are you doing here?" She asks pulling me into a room without the ink beings inside.

"Yeah umm I'm okay... kinda" I say gesturing to my wing.

She gasps and puts her hoof over her mouth. "I'm terribly sorry but that was brave of you to sacrifice yourself for cadence and shining" She says kindly.

I smile and nod. "So what exactly happened?" I ask.

"There is a new villain that uses their ink to infect others. The beings you see are ponies under control. We have to find the main source in order to defeat it" She says.

"Do you know where Dis-" I was about to ask before the door crashes down.

Celestia and I begin flying. We can't hurt them because they are real ponies so we just fly out of the windows. The moon begins to rise. Indicating someone is controlling Luna.

"Luna!" Celestia says before flying off to find her.

I hear another crash and look at the tallest pillar. I notice a large ink being through the balcony windows. I grew angry and quickly fly over to the large being. I fly through the balcony doors and land into the large room. The leader turns around and smirks widely.

"Aww looky what we have here?! Someone trying to be the hero!" They yell with their glitchy voice.

I smirk. "But you're wrong,
I'm not TRYING to be the hero,
I AM the hero"
