She went separate ways from her cousin soon as she could. Which was soon as she got out of his car, of course. She ran across the yard, dodging people expertly. But soon as she got into the halls she was swiped into the boys washrooms.
There was two boys. The one who had her caged against the wall, and the other, who was blocking the door from any possible escape. Her knees knocked together as the one who caged her forced her to look at him by placing his large hand under her jawline. It was like he was about to choke her, but there was no pressure. Yet.
It was none other than Kakuzu of the Akatsuki. She shook harder as he lightly squeezes her neck. She could feel the blood drain for her as he pushed her hard against the ceramic wall with his body.
Whatever happened next, she would have to handle it best she could. Despite the large hand on her neck, or the large body pinning her.
No one would be coming to save her with that huge brute of a man blocking the door. Fucking Kisame.
"I don't know what games you are playing, woman." The mans voice was awfly smooth, although she could hear the simmering anger. "But you will not be getting anywhere by cozying up to the Akatsuki." She blinked, her lips opening then closing quickly. Cozying up? As in.. He thought she was trying to get closer? Well, she did admit she had more interactions with them then normal in the past few days... But to go as far and saying cozying? She was absolutely terrified of the gang, there was no chance she could cozy up to them.
"I- I-" The man raised a single eyebrow. She had no choice! "A person cannot remain in the den of wolves with all their sanity intact." She whispered to herself. She ducked her head down soon as he released her neck, and kept holding her sweater tighter to herself like a lifeline. "I... I am not a... Threat." She forced out, a sour feeling in the back of her throat making it hard to swallow. She could do it. All she had to do was prove she wasn't a threat, right?
Wrong.
"Listen, Bitch." Kakuzu loomed over her, his arms trapping her from both sides. "I will not fall for such words, PaleMoon." Her body went cold. How could he...? "I have my ways." He put his hand on her head. It was an affectionate gesture, but she could feel the threatening aura the man produced. "You best listen to what I say, or I will spread around your little secret."
Then he left.
Now was alone in the men's washroom. She stumbled out, her body still cold. She felt a bit numb.
How could her secret be found out? She was always very careful! She even had excellent security on her laptop.
If her secret was released, people would call her a freak! Or it could go the other direction, and she could be called goody-two-shoes. As it was, she had trouble remaining invisible. If it got out, she would be exposed. Especially since she was well known on forums for being so outspoken.
This was... No, Highschool was hell.
She put her head down as tears threatened to spill. She walked faster towards the doors, trying to avoid people as she made her way.
... She couldn't do it. She couldn't be in this school right now.
She ran.
She ran out the doors, out the school gates, and then down the street. Then she ran some more.
She was going to skip.
But where would she go? The lake was an option. Or the mall.
Oh, she was losing her mind. This was so out of character for her! But... She couldn't do it. Not today. And she couldn't go home, her father would beat her.
"With great power comes great responsibility." She muttered to herself, trying a quote from spiderman to make herself feel better. She slowed her pace, before taking a look around.
She blinked, somehow she had made it to the lake. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about people.
Or not. A bright orange Mustang rolled up behind her, the window rolled down.
Inside the vehicle sat the worst person for her to meet. Pein.
