**Bari's POV**
"Wanna come over later for dinner? I'm having a ton of family over and don't wanna be alone.", Emma said.
"Sure. Why not?", I said.
Later that day I went over to Emma's to dinner. I walked up to the door to be greeted by Emma and her parents.
"Hey Bari, haven't seen you in a while," Emma's dad began, "It's nice to see you again."
"It's nice to see you too." I replied
I walked inside and sat down next to Emma and her cousin Ellington. I still couldn't believe that her cousin was in a band, and we were seeing them perform tomorrow night. I just couldn't wait any longer.
**Ellington's POV**
I couldn't believe my eyes. The prettiest girl just walked through my cousin's doors. That girl was my cousins best friend. I certainly had to act like myself tonight. I definitely wanted her number. But what would I say to her? I didn't even know her name, and I was already in love with her. I bet she already has a boyfriend. She probably wouldn't even want to date me anyways.
"What's your name?", I began with.
She responded with "Bari, what's yours again?"
I couldn't speak. She talked to me. She probably thinks I'm an idiot.
"I'm Ellington. It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you." I hesitantly responded.
That might have been the best moment in my life. I just can't imagine her being at the concert tomorrow night. I mean, who knows what could happen.
