The Concert

**Ross's POV**

I woke up and realized it was the day of the concert. I really couldn't believe I was about to perform for the first time live with my best friends. I really hope I don't forget any lyrics. That would be really bad and I would be really embarrassed. I mean I think they're gonna be a lot of hot girls there. At least I hope there will be.

**At The Concert**

I heard the door open. It was Ellington Ratliff, but everybody calls him Ratliff. Although I didn't recognize the girls he walked in with. Ratliff walked up to me.

"Hey, This is my cousin Emma and her best friend Bari. I invited them to the first concert and here they are.", Ratliff introduced them. 

"Hi, I'm Ross. I sing and I also play guitar." I began. I couldn't help but stare right into Emma's eyes as I spoke. I didn't really know how to continue the conversation but luckily I was saved as Rocky, Riker, and Rydel walked over. 

"Hey, I'm Rocky. I play lead guitar and I do a little vocals. Oh I'm also the sexiest of everybody." Rocky said introducing himself. I couldn't help but role my eyes at the last part. He says that to everybody every time he introduces himself.

"Hey, I'm Rydel. I play keyboard and I do a little vocals as well." Rydel introduced herself like everyone else. 

"Hey, I'm Riker. I play bass and I also do a little vocals. What's your guys names?" Riker spoke looking directly into Bari's eyes, and I think she might have enjoyed the attention. It was nice to know I wasn't the only one to have my eye on a girl. I had my eye on Emma, Ratliff's cousin. 

**Emma's POV**

"I'm Emma and this is Bari." I began. I couldn't help but look anywhere but at the band. I felt so bad but my thoughts were interupted when Bari began to speak.

"I'm so exicted to see you guys perform. I just know this is gonna be an awesome night." I saw Ratliff smirk as she said that.

Now I feel really awkward. My cousin Ratliff likes my best friend. What do I do??? I really don't know if I should tell Bari or confront Ratliff. I'm so confused on all of this but, I was in shock. I still couldn't believe that my cousin was in a band and that I was seeing them live. I just so happen to maybe have a crush on Ross. Well I don't really know what I feel right now. I'm still processing where I am. I noticed that Ross looked right into my eyes and I knew right away he had feelings for me. But I couldn't tell if I had feelings for him.

I know that my last post was really short but I really just wanted to get the book started and from now on the posts will be longer. I really hope you enjoy it and let me know if you have any ideas on how you want the book to go. I'm open to all ideas. Keep on enjoying and reading.
