She was really happy to see her dad after a long time. I was really happy for her too. I feel like I made them meet again. I'm really thankful to dad being the most friendly dad in the world. Angie, her father and her sister was having the time of their lives outside when suddenly mom intervenes my chain of thoughts.
"you like her?" She asked and my eyes shoot wide open.
"no mom. we're just friends. You should hear her sing mom. She's really amazing. I tell you." I said and she just laughed.
"how about we make her sing later. and just so you know, your dad and I started with "just friends" when we're your age." She said and I can't help but laugh at her. They must be the sweetest and most cheesy couple of their time. I couldn't imagine mom and dad having PDA's and stuff. After a couple of minutes, Angie went in and she's being interrogated by my mom in the mean time.
"before we eat dinner, how about some song darling. My son told me you're really good in singing." Mom said and she turn her head towards me giving me a "your dead" expression.
"I-I don't know Mrs. Afshari-" She said but I cut her off.
"you can do it Angie! We believe in you! more people will watch you after next week you know." I said and he sighed in surrender.
"alright. What song do you want me to sing?" She asked and mom suddenly became excited over something.
"Endless Love! That used to be your dad and I's theme song. How about you sing with her El." mom suggested and we giggled at her statement. Angie looks at her with eyes filled with amazement.
As requested, we sang Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. My brother was recording everything. I'll upload this later.
"you were right El. She is absolutely amazing." Mom said as dad placed his arms around mom's shoulder.
"alright. I'll prepare dinner and you wait here okay?" She said as dad and Iden, my brother, went to the kitchen with my dad leaving us in the Living room.
"you know your mom and dad are really sweet. You're lucky to have them both." She said and I can feel her pain. Her mom and dad got separated since she was small.
"Yeah. They truly loved each other the way I love Lucy." I said which made her confused. I want to hear her opinion so I won't tell her yet.
"I thought you were single?" She asked and I laughed so hard! She thinks Lucy's my girlfriend?
"no silly! She's my cat. I prefer cats than dogs you know." I said expecting her to laugh but she looked at me with an emotionless face.
"Why?" She asked.
"I just find them really cute and they kind of understand me if I'm happy or not." I said and she gave me a strange look.
"I prefer dogs than cats. Dogs are protective. Especially the big ones. We have a Golden retriever and a Labrador at home." She said and my mouth formed a perfect O.
"well that seems to be our difference." I said and she gave me a taunting look.
"what?" I said giggling.
"For a guy to like cats over dogs, you're weird." She said and laughed at me, amused.
"not my fault if I find them cute and adorable." I said and she still laughs at me.
"Dogs are cute and adorable too!" She almost shouted rubbing her tummy. That's what she gets for laughing too much.
"they're violent and scary! I don't like them!" I added which made her laugh even more.
"okay. okay. I'll stop. Can't laugh anymore." She said as she breathe heavily. I'm not even doing anything to her!
"Dinner's ready!" mom shouted and we headed towards the Dining room and ate everything, literally. She's one heck of a girl. She eats five times more than a normal guy could eat. She's curvy though.
"you really eat this much?" I asked and she just nodded having her mouth full with food.
"this is really good!" She said making my mom's head bigger. She really likes it when my friends compliments her cooking. She wants me to invite more friends over.
After the dinner, we went upstairs to upload our cover of Endless Love. She was really amazing.
"how about we write our first song as the Foxy, as they would call us." I said and she agreed.
"how about we call ourselves Fox rather than The Foxy. That's so lame." She said and I can't help but laugh at her.
"sure. That's a catchy one." I said as we made a new channel for our duo. We uploaded our first duet, which is the broken strings, and our new cover of Endless Love. While waiting for the upload to finish, we started composing a new song for us. We would like to sing this during our visit at the Ellen Degeneres Show.
"all done! I'm excited to sing this!" She said really excited about it.
"how about some movie. I'm really up for Spiderman." I said but she seems to disagree.
"I like Ironman. Let's watch that instead." She said and we ended up fighting who's stronger and who's greater.
"UGH! let's watch Avengers instead." She said but I still disagreed. Spiderman's not in it!
"okay! what about Kick Ass." She said and finally I agreed. We watched Kick ass.
"hey that's the part when oh." I was about to talk with her when suddenly I saw her head leaning on my shoulder. She was sleeping. She's rreally cute when she sleeps. I carried her to the bed to make her feel comfortable. I stroke her hair for an unknown reason. I just feel like doing it. It kind of made me relieved that she's here in front of me. I can't really explain why am I so happy right now. I looked at her sleeping face amusingly. The longer I looked at her the stronger it makes me want to.. kiss her. I don't know! I just can't help but feel this way when I'm with her. Like I'm flying or something. Maybe I'm just a bit sleepy. Might as well sleep. I went to my couch and made myself comfortable as I slowly closed my eyes and drifted to a deep sleep.
30 Minutes left and SOML will be released! Music awards are being aired Live at youtube at this time also. Well.. just letting you know. :D see you on the next chapter guys! :D
