Chapter 24
Bleu
Bleu Une Fleur! Bleu Une Fleur!
My ancestors chanted.
You've disgraced your name! You've tarnation your blood! Vous avez déshonoré le nom! Vous avez tarnation votre sang!
I twisted and turned, wanting to get away.
Harrison is coming! Harrison is coming! He will steal your magic like he did before. Il va voler votre magie comme il le faisait avant!
My blood ran cold at the thought.
Only you can save yourself!
No. Graham will protect me, I told them.
The werewolves can't be trusted. Return home. Rentrer à la maison
They can be. I trust him, I said.
He only wants what you have to offer. Body and soul. Magic and faith. Corps et âme. La magie et la foi!
Bleu
I can't do this. I can't argue about this with you, I told them.
If you can't argue with us than you can't be with us. Give up your faith.
Bleu
What no!
Give up your faith!
"Bleu!"
I shot awake, shaking and covered in sweat. I rambled uncontrollable words, some in my French. Anything to get the words of my ancestors out of my head.
"Oh my Darlin'," my head turned to Graham who was kneeling next to me, "I'm sorry, but you were shakin'."
I was too overwhelmed that he was even next to me that I couldn't even speak. He looked like he had aged ten years but deep down, he was still my Graham.
"Graham," I croaked, feeling my eyes sting with tears, "Oh God, Graham I missed you so much."
Before I knew it, Graham had his arms around me holding me a sitting position.
"I missed you too. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat. Hell, I look like crap. I haven't done my hair in two weeks."
I couldn't help but sadly giggle into his neck at his confession.
"God, please don't go again," he begged, "at least not without me."
"I promise. I'm never leaving you again."
He pulled back and cupped my cheeks.
"Write that down."
I frowned at his instruction, "what?"
"Write it down and sign it so I can use it against you."
I giggled, feeling my heart ache at how much I missed him.
"How's your shoulder?"
I frowned and looked down at my patch-covered and stitched up shoulder. My mouth dropped, confused to how it got like that before my blood ran cold when I remembered Anndra. God, Anndra  attacked me. That meant Harrison was close. And...I killed him. I snapped his neck.
"God, I killed him. Graham I killed him!" I panicked.
"Shh, it's okay," he told me, brushing my cheeks, "it was you this time but it could have just as easily been me. Next time, it will be me. I promise."
"It was Anndra," I said ignoring what he said, "Harrison's beta. He's close, Graham. I can feel him."
"No one's goin' to take you. You have my word. Okay?"
I nodded, calming down a little. Closing my eyes, I just focused on the touch of Graham's fingers running up and down my uncovered belly. In my panic, I had shook the blankets off me so now I revealed my body and bra to his eyes. Though I far but minded.
"Did you miss me at all?" Graham asked, sounding like a little boy.
"I cried for three days after I left you," I admitted, his hand immediately stopping.
"What happened after that?" He asked.
I shrugged, "I woke up. Became a survivor. I looked for that cave you took me to, caught my own food, washed my own clothes. I was doing okay till yesterday."
He nodded but looked upset that I didn't miss him as much as he so clearly missed me.
Cupping his cheek, I brought his eyes to mine, "I missed you, so much. As much as I loved being on my own for the first time, you were never far from my mind."
Before I knew it, his lips were on mine. I giggled and welcomed his tongue, wanting more and getting it with each kiss.
Just for a second, we broke, staying just inches away from each other.
"Graham, I need a shower," I told him knowing that I hadn't had a proper one in days.
"Okay," he said, surprising me and backed away.
I was so use to him constantly breathing down my neck that when he suddenly wasn't there, that's all I wanted.
"Do you, want to, join me?" I asked, slowly growing my grin.
I didn't have to ask him twice. He scooped me into his arms and carried me into the bathroom. Once he placed me down, I turned my back to him and immediately felt his tiny kisses at my neck. Giggles escaped my lips when two fingers hooked under my bra straps and ran up and down my skin. The clip become loose and the piece of material dropped to the floor.
I thought he would turn around and see but instead his hands grazed their way down to my jeans button and popped it out of its hole before pulling down my zipper.
I swallowed becoming nervous for some reason. It's not like we hadn't done this before. But everything felt so unfamiliar that it was like he was touching me for the first again. Once my jeans and underwear were at my ankles, I stepped out of them, groaning as Graham's hand trailed up my leg till it reached the top of my thigh, giving it a good squeezed.
"I missed you so much, Little Witch," Graham whispered in my ear.
Still in his grip, I turned looking up and down. Something came over me making me take control and start unbuttoning his shirt. My whole body melted at the sight of his tattoos that I had missed so much. Graham took over and peeled off his shirt as I went for his jeans. He groaned as my touch, becoming harder than he already was. I pulled them down, swallowing at the sight of him. God, I missed him so much.
We stood, just looking at each other, trying to get familiar with each other again.
He frowned and cupped my patched up shoulder. Carefully he pealed the patch off, revealing a gash and a few inches here and there.
"Can you heal?" He asked.
I remembered doing a couple healing spells in the coven but only ever tried it on animals. I had never done it to myself before.
Taking a step back from Graham, I rubbed my hands together and took in a deep breath. Hovering my hand over my gash, I called on the power within me and whispered, "Potentia in sana me. Potestas mihi sana me."
My skin tingles before it spread over the gash and joined till it was back to normal.
When my eyes found their way back to Graham's they were wide and his mouth was opened.
"That was the most amazin' thin' I have ever seen."
I giggled at his astonishment before he latched his lips onto mine. Just as I started to get caught up in the moment, Graham let go and led me into the shower.
I stayed still, watching as Graham turned on the tap and tested the water temperature. He stepped into the water and waited for me to join him. I took careful steps towards him before I was pulled into his arms. A sigh escaped my lips at the feel of his skin against mine, growing tender by the warm water.
Graham and I just stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, just happy to be in each other's company.
It had been at least ten minutes before Graham asked, "tell me about Harrison?"
I frowned and pulled back to look to see if he was serious.
"What?" I asked.
"Tell me about your life with Harrison. You've never told me."
I swallowed scared about revealing my life for those three years. I didn't want to relive those moments.
"Please," he begged, "I want to know."
I sighed giving in. It was the least I could do.
"At first, nothing. I was too scared to try and rebel against his orders. So I did as I was told. I reformed his body, made rogues submit to him," his griped tightened as if he knew something was going to change, "it was when he wanted to have more witches that I started to rebel. The first witch he wanted to recruit was Garia. Before we left, I attacked him. I was going to kill him," his grip tightened, "some of his guards jumped me before I could."
"What happened?" He asked.
I took in a deep breath and found the strength to tell him.
"They took me into a room, far away from anything," I closed my eyes, trying to keep the memory from taking over, "they beat me. Chains, whips, pipes, they're bare hands."
"And this Anndra lad," he started, already looking as if he was going to lose it, "he was one of them."
I nodded, swallowing.
I thought he would yell or at least rant about how he wished he had been the one to kill Anndra. But instead, wrapped his arms around me and held me so tight that I couldn't even touch the ground.
"I'm so sorry," he mumbled into my neck, "I wasn't there for you again. I'm a pathetic excuse for a mate."
"You're not, you were there for me yesterday," I reminded him, "you stitched up my shoulder."
"No," he paused, "I didn't."
I frowned and pulled back, "what?"
"Malcolm did it. If it was up to me, I would have waited for Doctor Glen. Let you lie there in pain because I'm so damn selfish -."
"You're not, you're not," I told him cupping his cheeks, "these last two weeks were about me, you weren't supposed to be there for me."
"But I should have been."
"No," I told him, "you shouldn't have. The fact that you didn't come after me tells me that you love me."
He frowned, "Bleu, that doesn't even make sense."
"It does. You knew that I needed to find myself. So you let me go even though it was the last thing in the world that you wanted. And that shows you love me very much."
He was still confused. I watched his eyes as he tried to work it out. I giggled before I pecked his lips, feeling my heart almost burst with love for him.
Just as I let go, my eyes landed on the soap on the soap rack also reminding me the reason I was here. To get clean.
"Graham," I started.
"Mmm," he hummed, half dazed.
"The soap," I giggled pointing over his shoulder.
He frowned, turned his head before a grin spread across his face. Leaning over, he took the soap rolling it in the palm of his hand.
"Turn around and curl up your hair," he told me.
I did as he asked, turning around and curling my hair into a bun which I had to hold.
I bit my lip when I felt the smooth texture of the soap on my shoulder before it moved down to my shoulder blade. A smile spread on my lips when I realized that he was washing my birthmark. Once it was cleaned, I felt Graham plant a kiss there making me giggle.
"Stop gigglin'," Graham whispered in my ear, "I'm tryin' to show my affection for you. It's very serious."
I couldn't help but giggle again but Graham just let it past. Taking a step back, he washed the rest of my back till it was spotless.
"Turn around," he purred, his breath causing goosebumps to appear on every part of my body.
Then, he placed the soap to my collarbone and started to draw circles against my skin. Feeling a little weak, I held onto his shoulders as I watched him washing both my arms. Once they were done, he moved the soap to my breasts. My grip on his shoulders tighten, as he ran it over my nipples, reminding of what I had missed out on.
"I've missed this," I groaned, closing my eyes and focusing on his touch.
My chin was knelt up by his finger causing my eyes to open.
"This isn't about sex or how to get your motor runnin', Little Witch," he told me, "this is about lovin' you and cherishin' you."
I frowned, "isn't that was sex is about?"
"It can be. But I just don't want you to think that it's what I've missed."
"What did you miss them?" I asked, interested.
He shrugged, "your voice. The little look in your eyes just before you panic or feel scared. The little pout you've got goin' on."
I frowned, not knowing what he was talking about as his thumb ran across my lip. Just as I was about to ask, he leant down and gently pecked my lips.
"I never want you to leave, Bleu," he admitted to me, "I know it makes me a horrible person by admittin' it but I always want you by my side. I feel lost without you."
"So do I," I said, reaching up and wrapping my arms around his neck, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to marry you, I want to have your children, I want to -."
Before I could finish, Graham's lips were on mine once again as his grip around me tightened. I groaned and welcomed it before Graham pulled back.
"Sorry," he said making me giggle as he tucked a lock of hair behind my ear, "no one's ever said that to me before."
"Well, I'm glad," I told him making him frown, "because I want to be the only person carrying your children."
"And you will be," he told me, "no doubt about it."
Almost instantly, I started to think about our children.
"What would you even call a half werewolf and half witch?" I asked.
Graham shrugged, "werewitch."
I smiled at the idea of little werewitches running around Foal Coillie.
"Werewitches. I like the sound of that."
