Chapter 8: The Honeymoon

"Honey?" I felt a finger poke my arm and groaned. "Come on, baby, you have to wake up." Dan whispered in my ear. He started lightly running his fingers up and down the side of my leg, making it impossible for me to ignore him. We had been here a week already, and we've barely left the hotel room.

"Ugh, noooo! Just five more minutes!"

"We stayed in here all day yesterday, so we need to leave this room today."

"Fine, but I call shower first."

*time skip*

We left the hotel, hand-in-hand, and walked into the crowded streets of Tokyo.

"So where are you taking me?"

"It's called the 'Meiji Shrine'. Phil and I went here the last time we were here."

I rolled my eyes as he put his arm around my shoulder and dragged me towards the Metro.

*time skip*

After visiting the Meiji Shrine, we went to a small restaurant to have lunch. Once we finished, we walked through the crowded streets, admiring the culture around us, when out of nowhere, I started to become nauseous. I ran over to the nearest trashcan, clutching my stomach, and let out everything that was in my stomach.

Once I finally felt like I didn't have anything left, Dan and I headed back to the hotel. When we got back to the room, he put me in bed and left to go get some soup and NyQuil.

I knew that he would be a while, so I turned on the TV and put on The Lion King. Ten minutes in, I felt it come again and ran to the bathroom. I emerged a few minutes later and decided to call the front front desk. I had an idea of what was going on, but I needed to know for sure.

"Front Desk. How can we help you?"

"Hi, um, do you guys sell pregnancy tests?"

"Yes we do. What room are you in?"

"437."

"Okay, we will have that right up to you."

A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the door, so I got up and opened it to find an elder woman holding a blue box. "Here you go miss." I thanked her and closed the door.

I heard the sound of the door unlocking as I picked up the test. I was in shock, so I didn't register him walking up behind and wrap his arms around me.

I turned in his arms with tears in my eyes. He wiped them away and asked what was wrong. I lifted the stick to show him the pink + sign.

"It wasn't the chicken."

He bursted out laughing and picked me up, spinning me in a circle. "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!"

"So you're really excited about this?" I smiled up at him.

"More than you could ever know." He got down on his knees and lifted my shirt and started placing soft, feather light kisses all over my stomach.

*time skip*

"Hey guys, can you see us?" We were on a four-way video chat with Dan's parents, my parents, and Phil.

"Yeah." They all said.

"Okay, so we just wanted to tell you guys that we decided to cut our honeymoon short."

"Getting sick of each other already?"

"No, it's just easier for me if I go to my OBGYN instead of finding someone down here." We waited for them to process what were saying, and they all did, eventually.

"YOU'RE PREGNANT?!?!"

"MY BABY'S HAVING A BABY!"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!?!"

"I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!"

After all of the excitement died down, our parents left and it was just us and Phil.

"I was going to give you guys your wedding present when you got home, but I think I should give it to you now." Me and Dan exchanged confused looks as Phil picked up his laptop and carried it down the hall. He pulled out a key and unlocked the door across the hall from our flat. "I bought the one-bedroom flat across the hall so you guys can have your own space."

I had tears in my eyes again. "Phil-"

"I don't wanna hear it, (Y/N). You guys need the space and it will just be easier this way. You guys don't have to go through the hassle of moving, and neither do I." I gave a sound of defeat and laid back onto the bed, feeling tired. After we said our goodbyes, we decided to make a video to announce the news right away.

"Hey guys. So you may notice that we are in a different room than we usually are."

"That's because we are on our honeymoon in Tokyo! Look at our view!"

"And because we are both anti-social people who hate actually going outside, we decided to make this video instead."

"So this is going to be a kind of update video on our lives, because we have some news." I paused, letting the tension build. "I'm pregnant!"

"And we know all of you are probably freaking out, wondering what we're going to do about the whole living situation. So Phil has decided to move across the hall from us into a one-bedroom flat and let us turn his bedroom into a nursery."

"We are aware that this is shocking, but we're extremely happy about this, and we didn't wanna leave you guys in the dark and we hope that you all will support us with this."

"I am still going to be making videos, Phil and I are still going to be acting like idiots on our gaming channel, so don't quit on us yet."

"We have to pack and hop on a flight, so we will see you guys later. Bye!"I turned off the camera and turned towards him. "Do you think they'll be mad?"

He took in a breath, "I think that some will, but most of the fans will be happy for us." He walked over, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulled me close, giving me a kiss to calm my nerves. "Come on, we need to start packing."

He turned to look for our suitcases as I pulled up my shirt, "You are going to be one crazy kid with Dan and Phil as influences."
