Love Conquers All

Chapter 2

"How did I get here so fast?!" I screamed at the five men. I felt the calm feeling sink into me, but I refused to let it work on me this time. The one with a sleeve of tattoos on his arm walked up to me cautiously.

"We're not going to hurt you ok babe? You're safe here with us."

I walked backwards until I was against the wall. The men were now looking at each other like I was the one who was crazy. They looked back at me and started walking towards me and that's when I ran off. I ran up the stairs and I could hear their footsteps chasing after me, which only motivated me to go faster. I screamed when I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I quickly sped up. I reached a door and I ran in and I saw a glimpse of the one with brown hair and blue eyes before I shut the door, locking it immediately.

Banging erupted in the room, which I noticed was a bathroom. I started crying when the door started to break a little like they were trying to tear through it. I whimpered as I crawled to one of the corners and got my body into the shape of a ball. I was scared shitless and I didn't know what to do. I eventually started hearing them begging for me to open the door. The banging stopped a few minutes later and I still didn't get up. I just stared at the door, trying to figure out what was happening outside it.

I heard the shower curtain ruffle a little making my breathing cease. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I slowly reached over to move the curtain to see what made the noise. I slid the curtain out of view and I was instantly screaming and running to the sink and climbing on it. There were hundreds of snakes coming out of the drain at a rapid pace. They slithered towards me and I cried harder as they started to surround the sink. They didn't come up to me, but they were everywhere now. The walls started to chip away for some reason. The ceilings and walls were growing older and it was looking like some kind of scary house. I closed my eyes and screamed. I placed my hands on both sides of my head, trying to block it all out. I was going to die. These snakes were most likely poisonous and I was going to die. The room got darker and it was like I was going mad. I cried harder and I started to scream for the men outside of the room. I need help.

I heard the door open and I wanted to scream for them to be careful. I just kept frozen as I felt two arms wrap around me, pulling me up against them. I wrapped my arms and legs around them and they started walking out. I laid my chin on the person's shoulder and looked around to find no snakes. Not even a sign of snakes anywhere. I felt the need to ask what happened and I started to hyperventilate until the calm feeling came to me again. I would never have thought I would be grateful for the feeling. It was actually really helpful.

"Shh..you're ok," the man holding me whispered in my ear. I took a deep breath and let it out feeling myself cool off. The man holding me brought me to the couch and sat down with me in his lap. I didn't have any willpower to run off or even get out of his lap. I just sat there and laid my head on his shoulder. I was extremely tired. I looked up to see the other four looking at me. They gave me a small smile, but I didn't return it. I weakly asked, "What do you want from me?"

"Ok lads..we really should start explaining. I think she deserves to know now after all that," the man who was holding me commented. I didn't even bother asking what just happened. I was still shocked. I'll ask them at a different time. Now, I just need to know what they want and who they are. My hand was then lifted to his lips and he kissed it. He smiled as he petted at my fingers. "Ask anything you want babe," he softly asked.

"What are your names?" I quickly asked. I could at least know their names incase I somehow get to the police.

"I'm Liam, the curly haired one is Harry, the one with all the tattoos is Zayn, the other brown haired one is Louis, and the blonde is Niall."
