Farewell

Have you heard of the saying 'after a rain comes a rainbow'? my situation seems to happen like that, but, in an opposite way.

It's been a week now, since I was entitled 'Yhance's girlfriend'. I was so happy, and my besties were too. We spend the whole week together, enjoying my last week in my hometown.

Those happiness were immediately replaced by sadness when the day to say 'farewell' came.

'I guess I gotta go' I remarked as I embraced Yhance.

Yhance didn't say anything but just sighed deeply.

"Can I trust you?" I whispered to his red ears.

He smiled and said "All the time, all the time,"

I smiled widely in relief.

"So, see you real soon?" I asked.

"Yep, see you real real soon."

The moment I let him go and turned, my tears just flew like river.

I didn't look back, but just walked forward until I reached the bus.
