Chapter 27:Maria's 1st Birthday

Today was Maria’s 1st birthday party.

I woke up around9:00to get both of us ready.

I walked to her room and woke her up. I got her bath ready and gave her a bath. I then changed and fed her. Then I went to go pick out her clothes.

I picked out a pink dress with black sparkly BVB signs all over it. I combed her hair and put a little pink bow in it. I gave her white sox and little black dress shoes.

Once she was ready I looked at the time and it was10:00.

I went to go find Ash so I could get ready.

I found him lying in bed and got mad at him.

“ASH” I yelled at him and he jumped right up.

“Yea, yea” He said, sleep rich in his voice.

“I need you to watch Maria while I get ready. She is ready and after I’m done you can get ready alright?”

“Ok got it” Ash said, walking to Maria’s room.

I got in the shower and let the water relax my muscles. I stayed standing there for about 5 minutes until I got shampoo.

Once I got out I picked out some black skinny jeans and a super tight black shirt. I put a leather jacket over it and put on some leather boots. I flat ironed my hair and kept it down. I put eyeliner just on the top lid and fanned it out at the end to create a wing like thing.

I walked in  to Maria’s room to find Ash sitting on the floor playing blocks with Maria.

He was such a good dad.

“Ash” I said.

“Yea” He asked, completely content and awake.

“You need to go get ready” I said to him.

“Ok” he said starting to stand up but stopped.

“I’ll be right back Maria ok?” Ash said to her.

“Da-dy” She said.

“Oh my god” I said, putting my hand over my mouth.

Ash just looked at me in shock.

“Di-did she just say “daddy”?” I asked.

“I-I think so” Ash said in as much shock as me probably more.

“Maria” Ash asked her.

“Da-dy” She said again.

“I NEED TO GO GET THE CAMERA” I yelled running to the camera that was charging.

As I started walking upstairs I turned it on and started talking.

“This is Maria’s first word” I said entering her room. “Ash go” I said.

“Maria” He said again which caught her attention.

“Da-dy” She said again and I couldn’t help but giggle and cry.

I turned off the camera and engulfed Ash in a big hug.

“I-I can’t believe she said her first word” I said out of complete joy.

“I know” He said, really shocked.

I looked at the time and realized it was11:00.

“Ooh Ash, you need to get ready” I said to him.

“Ok” Ash said walking out of the room.

I sat down with Maria and pulled her into my lap and played with her.
