This is a continuation of my previous preference.

Another message from him.

Another opening of the message.

No reply.

It's been 3 months and he still hasn't gotten the clue that I no longer want to speak to him.

Adrienne spoke the truth.

And the truth was is that he was a no-good cheater, liar, and abuser.

I'm more of a passive aggressive person so I didn't want to confront him about it yet. I didn't know how to address it to him.

A knock on the door.

I stood up from my bed and laid my phone on my bed. I walked silently through the house and opened the door.

There he was.

Silence.

"What's going on baby?"

Kevin is acting as if nothing is wrong.

"Don't call me that."

His face droops.

"What do you mean?"

"You heard what I said. I know what happened."

You can hear the confusion in his voice.

"About what?"

"What happened between you and Adrienne."

He sighs.

"I didn't think it was that important to bring up."

"So you cheating, lying, and abusing her emotionally isn't important?"

You tried to slam the door in his face.

"Hold on. What?"

I paused.

"What? That's not what happened? What are you talking about?"
