in the car, kay and I talked about the boys and basically everything. while we where in the middle of screaming the lyrics to welcome to the black parade, calum called me. i turned down the radio and answered the phone.
"hi!"
"hi calum?"
"you're not very happy to hear my voice."
"oh golly calum thomas youre such a babe and i would do anything to marry you! better?"
"yes." he said giggling.
"so umm what did you need?"
"how far away are you guys?"
"30 minutes."
"okay! be careful!"
"you guys too!"
i hung up and turned the volume back up. we were going through a small city like area, there wasn't many cars around. we were stopped at a red light, kay checked her phone and grabbed my arm. "alana." was all she said, on her phone was a picture of ashton kissing a girl at some gas station. "its probably a fan." i said assuringly. "they dont kiss fans on the lips. and then calum called you! what a jerk!" she said. the light turned green and we made our way across, i looked out my window and a huge black truck was racing our way.
"kay go!" i screamed and i felt the truck hit my door. it pushed us across and i froze.
I couldn't scream.
i couldnt say anything.
I couldn't breathe.
my neck was hurting very bad, i looked over at kay, she was holding her head and crying. she had a cut on her forehead. a bad cut. she looked over at me and screamed, then everything went black.

(later that night)
Calums POV
"great show!" the crew said, about to go take off all of our equipment. michael asked luke if he had heard from alana or kay. "nope." luke said. "kay hasn't answered either." ashton said. we all became very worried. "do you think something happened?" luke asked.  "oh god." ashton said. on his phone was a picture of their car, totally destroyed on the passanger side. "who was driving?" i asked. "kay." ashton said. "what does the article say?" i asked. ashton read it out loud to us, "two girls were found along with a man. the girls in the white suv where rushed to the hospital, both in critical condition." ashton paused to calm himself. "the man was heavily intoxicated. names are yet to be released." ashton scrolled down. "i have the hospital name, let's go."
on the way there I couldn't stop shaking. michael locked himself in the bathroom, luke was sitting on a couch close to the door. ashton, he was a mess.
when we finally got there, we all raced to find the ICU. "wait out here, I'll get a doctor soon, okay boys?" the nurse said smiling. a doctor walked out soon after and we all stood up. "kay is going to recover, slowly. she shattered her leg and we have her in here to make sure her leg won't clot. alana has a concussion and most of her right ribs are broken, she had bleeding in her lungs and they're trying to stop that now by draining it. the damage may be to bad to recover." he said. "what do you mean!?!" michael screamed. "fix her!" i grabbed him and tried to calm him down. ashton just stood there, shocked.
after michael was calmed down, luke sat by him and tried to talk to him. "she's gonna be okay buddy." luke said patting his back. we were all crying, especially ashton and luke. michael pushed him away, "you liked her!" he screamed. "why did you keep hitting on her after you knew she was with me!" he screamed louder. "michael no, i never hit on her after I found out!" luke said. "whatever." michael grumbled, then at once michael cried everything out. luke was a mess, ashton was a huge mess, sobbing like a baby. i was still kinda in shock. like these two amazing girls i just met, might be gone. they could go. tonight.
while we sat there waiting, he finally came back in and said that kay was stable and was being transported to a normal room, he gave us the room number and said she would be in the room soon. michael wanted to stay behind, i made luke go to kays room. no one would be there to stop them if they started fighting. as we walked to kays room, no one said a word. not up the elevtaor, not down the hall, only when we got in the room. kay saw ashton and immediately her face changed,
"get out."
"baby, no, why?"
"i saw the picture. how could you?"
"baby, no, it was an accident."
"please just go ashton."
he started to argue, but then left. "are you okay?" i said sitting in a chair by her bed. "you knew about it too. you all knew about what he did." kay said. "I didn't know i swear." i tried to tell her. her fave was mad and upset at first but then she calmed a little. "okay."
"im glad youre okay."
"me too."
"do you need anything?"
"i really want some red jello."
"on it." i said as i winked at her. i got up to go find some red jello.
Lukes POV
"hi, you alright?" i asked kay.
"yeah, but ive been worried about you, luke. you look sad."
"dont worry about me, worry about yourself okay?"
"tell me."
"i like alana. alot."
"i know."
"you do?"
"yes it's obvious. why are you here? why arent you telling alana how you feel?"
"i cant, michaels my friend."
"just tell her, dont do anything, like kiss, just tell her."
"okay." i said not really convinced. I waited for calum to get back before I left. when i left i found ashton crying,
"it was an accident man. I wasn't thinking."
"tell her."
"I probably should, shouldnt i?"
i nodded, he got up, that went way better than i thought it was going to go. I started walking toward the ICU, then it hit me. where are their parents? i decided i would ask kay when i got back if alana wasn't ready. when i got there michael was gone. i asked the nurse working where she was and she told me. she was still in ICU but she would get out sometime tonight, and that any guest wanting to talk had only 3 minutes because they had to run more tests. i waited outside the door, and michael soon came out teary eyed. he brushed past me and kept walking. when i walked in, i almost started crying again. she was hooked up to all of these wires. her eyes where swollen and her hair was mangeled. "hi." i whispered as i sat by her. "luke." she said reaching for my hand. my heart dropped.
"are you okay?"
"been better. hows ashton and calum?"
"theyre okay."
"how are you?"
"umm, same as you, been better."
"tell me why youve looked so upset lately."
"you." i felt her hand flinch.
"why?"
"i want to be with you, alot."
"luke."
"yes?"
"i will not be the reason you and michael stop being friends."
"you dont have to be."
someone knocked on the door and told me to leave.
Ashtons POV
i didnt know what i was doing, i havent done this in so long.
Michaels POV
i heard everything outside that door. she had feelings for luke, i couldnt do this.
Calums POV
"Luke!" i yelled. "i cant find michael or ashton."
WHOO okay big chapter.
a couple of things first of all, i take car wrecks very seriously. they are very scary and can happen anywhere so i thought lets have a serious twist
