Castiel’s POV
I teleported myself to Sam and Dean’s room. Rather happily, as I’d rather be talking with those two mind-boggling humans than arguing with Uriel. As I just was.
“Cas!” Dean exclaimed, rather surprised, when he noticed me. Well, I thought that I’d have a pleasanter time here. But the way the brothers were staring hostilely at each other, it was clear that they’d been arguing.
“What’s up?” I asked them.
“Lucifer and Michael are up, that’s what,” Sam said quietly.
I felt a sudden urge to lighten the mood. “No. They’re down. Far down.”
“Not funny Cas,” Dean murmured in a bored voice.
“Sorry.”
Sam suddenly looked up. “Uh. Guys?”
Dean and I turned to him at the exact same time. “What!” Dean demanded earnestly.
Sam looked nervous. “When I was captured by those vampires. They didn’t want to hurt me. Dean...” he paused. “They wan’t our help.”
“Our help?” Dean repeated.
“What for?” I pressed.
Sam frowned for a moment, remembering. “To destroy the strange ‘yellow-eyed’ ones.”
“Yellow-eyed ones?” I echoed.
“Azazel?” Dean asked, frowning as well. I thought I saw Sam wince when Dean said the name of the Demon who killed their mother, and eventually their father, all those years ago. “But we got rid of him ages ago!”
Sam shook his head. “I don’t think they meant Azazel. The Cullens. There eyes are close enough to yellow.”
“What’s your case anyway?” I asked, frowning a bit.
Dean put on his thinking face. Sam and I both smirked. Dean glared at Sam.
“Anyways,” Sam said. “Well it’s two groups of vampires who both want to kill each other.”
“And both sides want our help,” Dean added.
I suddenly felt the pull of being summoned. It was Uriel. I sighed. Of course it was. And I was not going to go to him. If that son of a bitch wanted to see me, he could come to me himself.
“Uriel,” I growled through my teeth.
“What?” Dean said.
I raised my eyebrows, chuckling a little. “Uriel doesn’t let me escape so easily.”
Sam made a tutting noise. “Cas, Cas, Cas. What have you done now?”
I opened my mouth to answer. But I heard a loud swoop of wings, and the shape of Uriel appeared, so with a bright golden glow that made me yell “Cover your eyes!”
I glared at Uriel. “I’m busy!” I snapped.
Uriel smirked. “I can see that.”
I rolled my eyes. “Sarcasm.” I muttered in a low voice. And then I was being forcefully transported by Uriel away from Sam and Dean, and back into heaven. I sighed.
