Leah’s POV
I crouched beside Seth, my ears flattened, teeth bared, hackles raised, as the enemy vampires approached. I heard a bullet whiz past my ear. Probably shot by that human, who was up a tree. I turned one ear in his direction. I heard a machete come in contact with a tree branch. Suddenly, it became a big confusion. I could hardly tell my brothers from vampires. Snarls and screeches erupted around me. I caught sight of Seth’s sandy grey tail, streaking between Jasper and an enemy vampire. I tried to follow him, but a hand caught me in the chest, knocking me backwards. I coughed, and staggered to my feet. I locked my teeth into the vampire’s arm. With a chilling screech the white arm came off in my teeth. I chucked it in a small fire that had been set up nearby. Emmett dashed in to help. He grabbed my opponent by the neck. Together we started to rip the vampire to pieces.
“Leah!” Someone called in my head. It was Embry.
