POV Quinn.

"Well, you could find a job. My nephew is not going to pay all your things" my aunt says referring to Dianna.

The girl smiles and looks down uncomfortably. I roll my eyes and watch the white-haired woman lying in bed. The discomfort in the room grows rapidly as the minutes pass. We should have gone more than an hour ago but she is determined to make us stay  until the visiting hours are done. This is even worse than spend the rest of my life without seeing sunlight, it's the worst torture in the world. I thank my round of suffering has gone fast, it was not the worst times she has treated me bad but the falling down stairs made her mood become worse.

I don't think she will learn from this little lesson the world has tried to give her.

"And you, Ryan, you could hacve come to visit me!" the woman shouts.

I look at my covered feet in high heels. The dress my mum has forced me to wear is appalling. All because my aunt Anne gave it to me as a present and because she says: "It makes you thinner hips so thank me I bought it". The fact that it is a little below the knees is what I hate most about the whole thing. Why can I not wear what I want?

"I've been busy, aunt..."

"Excuses, you are an inconsiderate little boy"

I cannot stand being in this room anymore. I need to leave here for a while or I'll die in the worst circumstances.

"Mom, I'm going to the cafeteria. Do you need anything?" I whisper in my mother's ear.

She turns with a smile. I don't know how she has been put to this woman for so many years, she must be very in love with my father.

"Bring a bottle of water for your aunt"

I smile back and sneak in the room before it's too late. When I close the door behind me, I take a deep breath of relief and a smile appears on my face. This is the best thing that have happened to me all day. I look at both sides of the white, crowded hallway and walk slowly to the lifts that are a few meters away. Some elderly people who walk down the hall dragging the drip beside them look at me. I have never liked hospitals, I feel uncomfortable in a place like this. No smiles or showing a little happiness in the faces.

I press the button with the down arrow and wait for the two elevators door to arrive. I have no hurry to return to the room with the rest of my family, I hope they don't mind I sneak in this way. Doors open followed by a sound and I get inside one of them. More people enter the large space and each one presses a different button. Silence reigns in the place when I look down and try so hard to suppress a stupid smile. I cannot help laughing at the lifts, so many people with so much silence makes me laugh. I know it's silly but it's something I cannot avoid.

We arrived at my floor earlier than expected and walking between people apologizing, I get off the elevator. I smooth dress on my legs and walk to the cafeteria. The aren't many people and I am relieved. I walk up to the bar looking for a waiter. I hit the wood with nails and keep my lip between my teeth.

" What do you want, miss?" a guy behind the bar asks.

I turn my eyes to the sound of his warm voice. A big smile appears on his face and it passes on in a second.

"A bottle of water, please"

He nods and turns to get my order. Suddenly, I realize that I forgot the wallet in the room. Great, how am I supposed to pay now? When he turns back, there's a bottle in his hands and he puts right in front of me.

"I'm sorry, I forgot my wallet in the room" I say with a grin.

He smiles again.

"It's fine. Bring me the money when you can so I can see you again"
