"Leighanne baby, are you ready yet?" Jack yelled from downstairs. Brandy, my best friend stopped straightening my brown hair and spun me around. She gave me two thumbs and pulled me in for a hug.
"You have to tell me everything that's happens, yeah?" I nodded and hugged her back before I picked up my purse and slipped on my shoes. Jack said that I should just wear casual clothes, so I wore a Nike sweatshirt and skinny jeans with my adidas superstars. I tucked some hair behind my ear as I walked down the stairs. Jack smiled and his mouth dropped the slightest bit.
He wrapped a hand around my waist and locked the door as we made our way to the car. "You look gorgeous Leigh," he said while pecking my lips. I smiled and blushed then slid into the passengers side of his car.
"Can I ask where we are going?" I asked. Jack shook his head and rested his hand on my leg, sending chills up and down my body. We have been dating for a few years now, but every time I see him I still get butterflies.
"I told you, you'll find out when we get there," he smirked. I crossed my arms and looked out of the window like a child. Jack laughed and sped up. Hopefully that would make us get there faster.

Jack parked and turned off the car. The time was 6:44pm and it was getting dark, but that didn't make a difference. You walked up a road and found out this is where he took you on your first date, the London carnivals. "Jack, this is so cute! I love you," I said. Your fingers intwined with his and you walked up a street until you got to a cotton candy stand. "I love you too," he said.
After a while of walking and talking, Jack took you to a fancy restaurant that you felt underdressed. He gave your hand a reassuring squeeze and kissed your cheek. "Reservation for Maynard," he told the woman at the front of the booth. She lead you to a booth that was lit enough to see each other.
"Get anything you want, my treat."

"Oh my gosh, that dinner was so filling! I feel like a ball," you giggled to Jack on the way back to his car. He smiled and agreed with you, pulling you to a stop.
He looked into your eyes and took a deep breath. "Leighanne, from the moment I saw you, I thought you were the most beautiful person in the world. When we first started dating, I fell more and more in love with you with each day we spent together," Jack got down on one knee, causing tears to form in your eyes and people stop and watch around you. "Leighanne Comstock, will you marry me?"
A few people watching gasped. I giggled and nodded, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him. "Of course I will!" I cried. People were 'awww'ing and clapping around us which made me smile. I held his hand again as we walked to his car.
Boy I had a lot to tell Brandy.
