Christmas. It's the most beautiful time of the year, as the new ghandi, Justin Bieber once said. ( if you know where that's from, your a g ) The decorations in stores and buildings, trees everywhere and the smell of gingerbread lingered in the air. As a child you always wrote letters to Santa explaining that you didn't want much but to spoil the less fortunate, asking him to help them find happiness and peace. As a adult, you've realized you've found your own happiness and peace. With a person. A trio of people actually.
Your husband Jack, and two adorable kids Francesca and Caspar.
Only being 23 and young, you knew Jack was the one you wanted to be with. At the age of 19, you fell pregnant with Caspar and was overjoyed. Two years along the track you fell pregnant with Francesca and soon after got married to the love of your life.
You sat on the couch at 7:29 am on Christmas morning watching The Muppet Christmas Carol with Jack Francesca and Caspar .
"It's amazing they haven't asked to open anything yet." Jack whispered and held my hand. "I'm glad though, because I have the best present. When the rest of the family come over, Conor will bring it." The reflection of the candles that were lit flickered off the walls.
"I actually believe I have the best present. They'll love me forever." I responded flicking some of Jack's blonde strands out of his eyes.
"Hm, we'll see," he murmured, once I realized the kids were fast asleep in our laps again
After everyone apart from Joe and Conor arrived, we were all sat on the large sofa or chairs as there was no room on the floor due to all the presents people bought.
"So, there was a bit of a problem..." Joe said from the hallway. That's scared me. I sprang up from my seat and rushed over there. Joe was standing with an adorable black pug in his arms... And Conor next to him with a tiny husked in his arms. 2 dogs?! I asked Joe for one!
"Merry Christmas!" Conor and Joe shouted in unison. As if on queue, Caspar and Francesca screamed and ran over to them, and playful led fought and chased the dogs around the house.
This was truly the best Christmas anyone could ever ask for.
Not taking anymore requests, sorry
