"let's do something good today, before it's too late."

zayn, DO SOMETHING GOOD

Dear Birdie,

I've decided to ask you out.

Tough decision, I know, I know. But, I think I'm ready to spend time together on our next Hogsmeade trip. I'm ready.

S.B.

"Althea?" Sirius called, walking towards Althea. His hands were clammy and his anxiety clouded his thoughts. Althea hummed as she turned in the chair she was sitting in, moving away from her book to see what Sirius wanted.

"Um," He hesitated, his words soaked into his sweat as he figured what to say. He was too scared to even think. "Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me?"

Althea's pink lips parted ever so slightly, not sure how to handle the situation. "Oh, Sirius," Her voice sweet and soft as her forest green eyes, "I don't think I'm ready for that, yet."

"You're not ready for that?" The word vomit poured out of his mouth, something that he could never control, in a misleading tone that he never meant. He regretted it the second he said it. But, he was just too upset to let her do that.

"Yes, Sirius, I'm not ready. There is a war, and, bloody hell, do you know how deep we'll have to dive into that? And we're already in our seventh year! Once we're out of Hogwarts, we're on our own. No one can truly be protected, we'll be alone!" She exclaimed, no one else was in the common room to bother.

It felt like he didn't know anything; he didn't know what to say or think. But, alas, he finally did something: he spoke, without a single moment to think. Sirius furrowed his eyebrows in anger out of what she said. "Rubbish! We have time until then and you know it!"

"Don't be daft, Black! Half the students in Slytherin are a part of them and you know it!" She screamed in frustration, not realizing that the rest of the Marauders, Lily, and Marlene (another fellow Gryffindor), entered the room silently. Althea stood up and slammed her book shut.

Althea pursed her lips, "I'll speak to you once your head isn't stuck up your arse."
