"Is it- is it a bit much?" Camila stuttered feeling embarrassed all of a sudden, like always. She mentally rolled her eyes. Why did she get embarrassed so easily? She liked the way the bra made her look so why should she care what Ashton thinks about it? She knew the answer to that question; Camila liked Ashton."No it's- it's great. You look great and um so do they," Ashton stumbled upon his words as he pointed down at Camila's boobs.
Her cheeks tinted a soft pink, "Um, thanks."
Camila waited for Ashton to turn back around so she could change back into her own clothing. She tried unhooking her bra but it felt as if it were stuck.
"God damn it," She murmured.
"What's wrong?" Ashton asked, still turned around.
"The hook is stuck. Mind helping me?" Camila went out on limb asking for his help. She was almost sure Ashton would help her, he always does, but it was just an odd favor to ask him for.
"Sure."
Ashton turned around and his eyes flickered to Camila's in the dressing room mirror before returning back to the hook of her bra. Camila felt his hands grip the back and he slowly pulled her closer to him. She noticed how he was staring at it with so much concentration, but he quickly unsnapped the bra with ease. It didn't surprise Camila because she knew Ashton had a few girlfriends before and he's probably had experience. She realized the bra had fallen to the floor and immediately covered up. She screamed at Ashton to turn away while he smirked at her. Once Camila was fully dressed she didn't hesitate to smack Ashton on the back of his head before exiting the dressing room.
"Hey! What was that for?" He shouted.
"For being a creep," Camila reminded him.
"Oh...Right, sorry about that," Ashton awkwardly scratched the back of his head.
The two friends neared the front of the line to the registers. Ashton wandered off to somewhere in the store, but soon came back with underwear that matched the bra Camila had tried on, which she already had in her hand. But Ashton didn't know that.
"Look! It matches the bra you tried on!" Ashton excitedly told her. He got way more excited over shopping than Camila did.
"I already have that," Camila showed him the matching underwear that was hidden underneath the pullover she had picked up.
"Oh, darn. But why didn't you try it on?" He questioned.
"One, because you were also in the room and two, because you're not supposed to," Camila informed him.
"But how do you know if it fits?" Ashton was just full of questions and it was only the beginning of his and Camila's shopping adventure.
"You buy underwear all the time so you should know what size you are. If not, then that sucks," Camila enjoyed answering Ashton's questions no matter how simple they were.
"Next in line," The blonde cashier called out.
Camila placed her items on the counter to be rung up. She caught the cashier stare at her for a few seconds so she looked up at him.
"Hey, wait, I know you," Camila mumbled, "We have Spanish together. Luke right?"
"Yeah! I knew that I knew you," Luke grinned. He carried on the conversation with Camila, mentioning that he's never seen her here, until Ashton cleared his throat.
"Are you going to ring up the clothes or not?" Ashton's voice was laced with irritation.
"Oh, right. Sorry," Luke apologized to Ashton but never did his blue eyes leave Camila's. Luke looked down at the items and blushed while he put them in the bag.
"Don't be so rude," Camila told Ashton in a whisper so Luke wouldn't hear. But Ashton just rolled his eyes in response.
"A hundred and twenty four dollars," Luke announced. Wow, that's a lot.
"Umm, darn that's a lot. But okay," Camila sighed before pulling her debit card out of her floral wallet. She saw Luke tap the screen a few times and a new price popped up.
"A hundred dollars," Luke smiled at Camila hesitantly.
"Really?" She asked, the same time Ashton did.
"Yeah, I forgot that we give discounts to new customers."
"But she's not-," Ashton was cut off by Camila explaining that just because he's experienced this store with his sister doesn't mean that it's not her first time just because Ashton was with her.
Camila swiped her card and signed the small screen. She then took the bag off the counter after thanking Luke and him telling Camila he hopes he'll see her around at school. Once Camila and Ashton exited the store she looked back to take one last glance at Luke for the day, but he was already staring with a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
"Well, he was cute," Camila mumbled. She was pretty sure Ashton hadn't heard but unfortunately she was wrong. She felt bad for saying that but she didn't know why.
"Extremely!" Ashton scoffed with fake enthusiasm.
Camila brushed off his sarcasm, "Where should we go next?"
"Hot Topic."
"I don't want to."
"Why not? It's my favorite store."
"Are you gonna buy something?"
"Well no but," As always, Camila cut off Ashton.
"Then let's make that our last stop, okay?" Camila made sure Ashton was okay with that plan before she decided she wanted to shop at PacSun and American Eagle. The two went into American Eagle first because it was only a few shops down.
"Why the fuck is it dark in here?" Ashton questioned, as if expecting Camila to know the answer.
"Hey, don't swear," Camila scolded him.
"Hey! That's my thing! You can't steal my thing," Ashton shouted.
"Just did," Camila winked at him before getting lost between racks of clothing.
