• Justin's POV •
I was stuck in the moment, stuck standing in place as Noah walked away from me. As if she took my heart with her, I felt it being pulled.
"I won't give until you're mine!" I shouted, before she turned the corner.
Nothing you say will make this okay.
She must have meant it when she said that 'cause she didn't turn around other than to flick me off. That was big fuck you to my heart, although I'm certain she felt the same way about hers. While she was coming at me with questions my mind went blank. I wanted to explain but how could I? What would I say?
It wouldn't have changed anything. I did what I did and now, I don't know how I'll fix it.
I've never seen Noah so angry, her hands were shakin' and her jaw clenched so tight and I could see in her eyes how hurt she was. I don't believe there's actually anything I could've said to make her stay. I felt the anger radiating from her petite body, sort of like lighting in a bottle- all that anger caused by me.
I came to New York with nothing other than Noah on my mind. I hoped that when we went back to Miami- we'd be together, like officially and I was an idiot to think so. I slept with her best friend. She hates me.
"Excuse me?" I stepped aside, noticing the doctor that stood there. I caught of glimpse of Elle laying in the bed as he walked through the door.
I followed him in.
"Ms. Martinez," he greeted her. She lifted her head and looked at the doctor then me. "How are you feeling?"
"Like.. I got hit by a car." Elle muttered sadly, she laid her head back down.
The doctor chuckled. "Well hun, that's because you did."
My jaw dropped and my eyes grew wide with shock. Noah asked serval times what happened to her and they wouldn't say shit, so none of us had s clue what happened.
Elle looked shocked too and frightened. "Oh my gosh," she held her shaky hand over her mouth.
"Don't panic," the doctor held his hands up, "take a deep breath." He took one and exhaled loudly. "You'll be fine, but we've gotta keep you here just a few more days- just to be sure."
"Be sure of what?" I asked suddenly, 'cause I didn't like how that sounded.
"Who are you?" He asked, curiously.
"Justin," I stated.
"Justin," he repeated. "I over heard your exchange of words with that young lady, is she your girlfriend? I'm sorry. I don't mean to intrude but, you shouldn't let a girl like her go."
Licking my lips, I felt her eyes on me and glanced her way. She looked so broken and weak. I looked back at the man and shook my head, "she isn't my girlfriend."
"Oh," he chuckled awkardly. "Well then, back to Elle." He faced her. "I've gotta keep you a bit longer so a few more test can be ran.. on your brain."
"My brain?"
"Yes, your brain. You hit your head very hard and it caused serious trauma to your brain." He walked over and pulled out a mini flashlight. "Are you suffering from any memory lose or-"
As he shined the light in her eyes she simply said, "no."
"You must be truly blessed." He smiled down at Elle, "I'll be back to check on you in a bit." My eyes followed him as he walked out the room then a sigh left my lips.
How am I gonna fix this?
"He thinks I'm truly blessed." She smiled softly, "what an idiot."
