Chapter 13

Liz's P.O.V

I was just sitting on the couch waiting for Sebastian to come out of his office.

Marco was playing Candy Crush on his phone in front of me.

"Why are you waiting for him?"Marco suddenly asked.

"I need something."I said playing with my fingers.It was not that I was nervous,maybe just a little bit but I was about to ask him something so crazy.

Just as Marco was about to say something,the door opened.

He came out and went into the kitchen.
I followed him to the kitchen and poured myself some apple juice.

"What do you want now?More Nerds?"He said,taunting me.

"No.Judge me all you want but Nerds are God's gift."I said shaking my head at his ignorance.

"Well,then what else could you possibly want?"He said exiting the kitchen with me on his tail.

"I need my books and clothes and my backpack.I have school tomorrow.And I don't absent myself.Ever."I said stopping.

"Well,then go shopping."He said climbing up the stairs.

"No.I want my books.And I'm going to get then from the house."I said annoyed.

"You are not going anywhere."He said turning around.

"I am.I called Luke and asked him.James would not be at home now.There is a lot of things so one of you can come with me or I was pretty happy alone too."I said turning towards the door.

"And exactly how do you plan to go alone and bring back your things?"He asked crossing his arms and leaning against the railing and smirking.

"I'll walk home and then Luke will drop me back with my things."I said proudly.

He just sighed,came down the stairs and went past me to pick up his leather jacket.

"You're coming with me,Steele.Let's get this settled."He said

We were parked in front of the gate.It felt like a million years since I'd been here.
I pressed the intercom.

"Who's there?"came Rosa's voice,laced thickly with her Russian accent.

"It's me,Rosa."I said and immediately the gate buzzed and clicked an opened.

Just as I entered,a gun entered my line of sight.
It was Nikos.

"What the fuck,man?"I said glaring at him annoyed.

"You shouldn't have come back,traitor."He said glaring back at me and Sebastian.

He was looking so amused and looking at us like we were characters from a comedy movie.
I don't blame him.Nikos always was a drama-queen.

"Drop the act."I said annoyed,moving ahead.

"Take one more step,I will shoot you."He said,shoving the gun closer to me.

I took hold of the gun and pointed it at my forehead and took a step closer to him.
"Shoot me."I said my hands balling into fists.

Behind me somewhere,Sebastian was surrounded by other guards.He was looking at us with curiosity.Nobody dared touch him,though.They probably saw him defeat James.

"Oh come on.Get away from her,Nikos.You both are drama-queens."Luke's voice made me look in his direction.

Nikos looked at him questioningly.Luke nodded and suddenly the gun was out of my face.
