Chapter 21

Liz's P.O.V

I hissed as I slid into the tub.
The hot water burned and relaxed my muscles at the same time.

I lay my head down and relaxed for a bit.
I then wrapped a towel around myself and went in my room to change.

But before that I rubbed some muscle pain ointment on my stomach and wrapped a medicinal bandage to keep it warm.
I slipped on my v-neck t-shirt and jeans.
I adjusted my adult braces on my teeth and grabbed my glasses.I combed through my wet hair and used the hair dry to dry them.

I then kept a hair band for tying my hair later when it was fully dried and grabbed my jacket and backpack and tied my converses.

I then hurried down the stairs for breakfast.

I could smell the waffles from here.
I went to the kitchen and just as I entered all the conversation stopped.
"Good morning to you guys too."I said sarcastically as I snatched the plate with waffes from Sebastian.
He was cooking.

I just made my way to the island and took the syrup from Chase and sat down quietly beside him.

"You look different."Marco said taking a bite out of his waffle.

"Yep.I wear glasses."I said cutting my waffles ready to eat.

"Prescribed or fake?"Sebastian said while turning the machine.

"Prescribed."I said as I ate.

"Right."Marco said and sat down quietly beside me.

I just quietly ate my breakfast before I was interrupted.
"So are you popular?"Chase said his eyes still on his waffles.

"Define popular."I said after a pregnant pause.

"You know wears the best clothes,every guy wants to bang you,every girl hopes to be you?"Chase said smirking and staring at me.

I smirked in return and said,"Nope."

I got up from the chair and just as I was going to leave,I turned around and said,"Don't worry,Foster.You are going to be popular."I said as I laughed thinking of all the fakes pushing up to these three.

I whirred my baby back to life and went to school.

-At School-

The boys were still not here.I met with my usual group.Luke,Niko and some other friends.Everybody passing us in the hall was staring at me with pity or curiousity that I even attended this school or how Matt being such a popular athelete was my best friend.

Luke squeezed my hand un reassurance and calmed me down a bit.

I told them the boys had transferred and it really ignited some kind of whispering gossips.

Luke was sour because this was supposed to be the only place away from those goons to spend time with me.

I just snorted and said,"We fight all the time."
And everybody surrounding us started laughing.

The bell rang sugnalling the first period but suddenly everything became quieter.
That was rare.When the bell rings,people around here get more noisy,this us the first I'm seeing of it.
