I take a deep breath as I stand outside of my room. "Its ok. It's ok. Just breathe, Dakota. And while you're at it, stop talking to yourself. People are going to think you're crazy." I shake my head and put my hand on the knob and twist. When I walk in, there's a girl with brown hair hanging a poster of Justin Timberlake up. "Hey! You must be Dakota." She jumps off her bed and rushes over to me. She puts her arms around me and squeals. "Yes and that means you're Sky?" I ask, but already knowing the answer. I looked over my room information last night and saw that I'd be rooming with Sky Valentine. "Yup! That's me!" She beams and walks back over to her bed. "Well, it's nice to meet you." I smile and walk over to my bed. Setting my bags on the floor, I open one and take my phone out. "Um do we-" I start off and Sky points to the desk near the door. "The WiFi box is right over there. Password is on the side." I smile and realize right and there that we'll become great friends. I put the WiFi code in and sign into Facebook. There are three messages and thirty notifications. All the notifications are about wishing me good luck. I click on the messages and read the one from my brother, Jonathan.

Hey sis! Just wishing you good luck and hope you're having fun. Call me when you're settled in.

I smile and text back a reply, letting him know that I miss him and I'll call him in the morning. I look throughout the other two. One is from my mom and the other is from my best friend, Audrey. Both say the same thing as Jonathan's. Audrey tells me not to forget about her. I laugh at that. I could never forget Audrey. She's like my twin, except we don't look anything alike. She has blonde hair, while I'm a brunette. She has blue eyes and mine are green. I met her when I was just a sophomore in high school. We've been like family ever since. "Dakota!" I look up and realize that Sky's been calling my name. "Sorry. What is it?" I ask, setting my phone on the bed after sending off a reply to Audrey. "Wanna go for lunch? There serving burgers in the cafe." She smiles and runs her stomach. "Sure! Whenever you're ready, just let me know." I reply and pick my phone back up, seeing that Audrey sent me a smiley face. I smile and Sky stands up and walks towards the bathroom. "I'll be ready soon. Just have to shower." I nod my head and turn on my dance playlist. When she shuts the door, I get up and start unpacking. I shake my hips as I put my clothes into the closet and my make up into the drawers. I turn around and there's a guy on my bed. I jump in surprise and that's when I realize it's Fletcher, the guy who hit me with the ball. "Hey! How long have you been sitting there?" I ask, wondering how I didn't hear the door. "About ten minutes. By the way, you have a really nice figure." He licks his bottom lip and I roll my eyes. Ugh, he's one of those guys. The ones who flirt with any girl they want until they get them into bed. "Well, can I help you?" I ask, turning off my music. "I'm just waiting on my sister. Is she here?" He asks, looking around the room. "Your sister? Sky?" I ask looking bewildered. "Yup, that's her." He smiles and walks over to my bag. He picks it up and puts the bag into the closet. Then goes back for the other one and repeats. "So, have you thought about going shopping for new sheets?" He asks, flicking dirt off the bed. "Actually yes, I have. I was gonna do that after lunch." I shut the dresser drawers and sit on the bed. "Need a second opinion?" He asks, sitting next to me. I look over and realize that he changed out of his clothes that he was wearing earlier. He's in a tight black shirt and blue jeans. His hair is gelled up in the front. "Are you offering?" I ask with a smile. "If you'll have me." He reply's. "Why not." I shrug and we exchange smi
