"He what!?" Aubrey yells as we sit on the couch in our pajama, eating popcorn. "He kissed me!" I squeal and Aubrey bounces up and down. "This is so exciting! Then what happened?" Aubrey asks. "He left." I shrug my shoulders and grab a handful of popcorn. "I'm home!" Sky walks into the living room wearing a royal blue, strapless dress and black heels. Her hair is in a messy bun on top of her head and she's wearing light make up. She set her gold clutch on the coffee table and flops in between me and Aubrey. "Where have you been, hit mommma?" I ask as sky leans her head on my shoulder.
"I went to the club with Hunter and my brother. It was five dollar margaritas night." She smiles before grabbing the trash can and placing it at her feet. "Did you have fun?" I ask with an amused chuckle. "Heck yeah I did! A little drinking, a little dancing, and then some amazing sea food. Which I brought home with me." Aubrey shoots up from the couch and scrambles into the kitchen.
"So, Hunter." I say in a sing song voice. "Yup. I've liked him since we were all in high school, I'm not sure how he feels though." She looks down at her hands and twiddle her thumbs. "Hey, it'll be ok. You're beautiful and very kind hearted. Any guy would be lucky to have ya, baby girl." She looks up and smiles at me just before Aubrey walks in with a plate full of shrimp. "Oh, did I tell you that I have a date tomorrow night?" She asks. "Nope. With who?" I ask, stealing a piece of shrimp. "Can't tell you it's a surprise." She smiles and stands up. "Ok, fine. I'll play your little games. I'm headed to bed guys." I stand up and stretch before heading to my room. Today was a long and confusing day.
