"YN... If I may ask... When did your eyes change color?" Emmalyn asked,

"Oh! Oh! Kawaii-chan knows! It happened after Katelyn-sama woke up!" Kawaii-chan was quick to butt in.

"Ok... Well all that happened was Aphmau whispering something to Katelyn." Nicole shrugged. That's when it clicked. Life Mages hearing is enhanced.

"It's not your fault... It's Zane's..." I muttered... Aphmau and Katelyn, whom stood on either side of me, had they're jaws dropped.

"Y-You heard that?" Katelyn looked at me,

"But you were on the other side of the room..." Everyone was quiet...

"Girls... We have a Mage in our presence... Have you got any idea how powerful she is?!? She's possibly the last one alive! Unless she has a baby..." Yeah, that's not happening.

"Wait... If she's the last one alive... Emmalyn how many of those books were made?!" Aphmau asked frantically,

"Two... The second hasn't been seen since Enki's death."

"Emmalyn could you please look for anymore info on this. But for the meantime we should keep this on the down low. We wouldn't want to alert anyone. Although I will speak with my guards." Aphmau sighed.

"Ok then! You heard her! I say lets go show off my new line!" Cadenza spun around on her heel- how the heck did she do that?-as she marched away proudly. We started giggling at her childish behavior before following her back into the village.

Laurence's POV

"Hey Garroth, how's everything looking?" I asked as I moved from my position against the wall and walked towards him.

"It's all good. Although the ladies were acting rather odd this morning." He furrowed his eyebrows in thought but quickly shrugged it off,

"It was Cadenza wasn't it?" I ask without a second thought. I know her too well. She is my sister after all.

"Yeah, said something about showing Emmalyn and Kiki her new designs with the other girls."

"... Was YN there?" He sniggered,

"Your whipped." He started chuckling as I gave him a death glare. If looks could kill he'd already be buried 6 feet under.

"Oh please! At least I can speak to a girl without stuttering." That got him to shut up.

"Hey guys!" Dante smiled as he jogged over to us. His red cape fluttering behind him slightly.

"Did you see the girls? I mean YN even has a new hairstyle!" Now that is something I wouldn't mind seeing...

"I-uh... I gotta go... Feed my cat..."  I turned to go find them. Like I'm gonna give up seeing YN with a new hairstyle and Cadenza's clothing- which is usually extremely flattering- for being made fun of by Garroth.

"Hey where do you think your going Laurence?" Dante caught me by the cape and forced me to the ground in front of him. And of course, Mr Stutter king over here had to start frantically laughing at me.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! YOU DONT HAVE A CAT!!!!!" Garroth was practically dying of laughter...

"Garroth was right! You really are becoming worse than him!" Dante joined in and soon I started laughing with them. A cat? That's definitely something Garroth would say. And I am no Garroth!
