Sienna's POV:
As soon as my toes hit the sand, I beelined right to the "refreshments" table and got myself some champagne. I poured it in a plastic red solo cup and thought to myself "why the hell am I drinking Don Perignon in a plastic cup?" That really pissed me off for a brief second. But then I remembered "Duh, Sienna, you are the one who provided the cups because who likes cleaning up broken glass on the beach?" Celene went to hang with Austin in a more reserved area on a blanket. Which is really cute but don't get me wrong, this is a party. And I wanted to party. So, I walked over and kicked sand on her.
"Do you mind, Sienna?" She said as she tried to brush the sand off her shorts.
"You guys can snuggle later. It's time to party, pleeeeease come dance with me." I pleaded as I grabbed her hand and away we went to the dance floor. I mean, dance beach? Whatever.
I was impressed with how many people showed up already and it was only half past eight. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The sun was just setting and we set up some tiki lamps in the sand for light. Austin and his friend Matt were setting up the bonfire with the help of a few other guys. Some people were even floating on rafts out in the ocean. I smiled to myself while I finished my champagne and went to get more.
"I'm empty. Be right back." I said to Celene loudly over the blaring music.
"Get me a cup. I'm feeling all tense. Austin is acting weird and I need to loosen up." Celene whispered in my ear and I nodded my head and smiled
As I was walking to the table, I heard someone call my name and a few seconds later touch my shoulder. I jolted away from the touch, not realizing who it was until I saw Lennon's fanny pack.
"Hello sunshine!" I smiled
"Jared's here." My eyes widened with her words.
I downed my glass and then took two shots of tequila. I don't even remember getting tequila but whatever was gonna get me drunk, fast, worked.
"Where is he?" I whispered
"He just got here. He's talking to some guys by the steps."
"I can't see him. I won't." I felt my eyes start to fill with tears. I shook it off and took two more shots and then made Celene & I a mixed drink-Malibu with a splash if pineapple juice, which is her favorite.
"Jared is here." I said, my voice was low.
"Are you kidding me? I'm gonna go find that bastard and tell him to leave. This is your party and I won't let him ruin it." She walked off and almost tripped on her sandals which made me chuckle.
I decided to go where the crowd mainly was, and that was where the music was playing. Dancing made me have fun and I was already starting to feel calmer and free because of the alcohol I've already consumed. Maybe this night won't be so bad after all.
After a good 20 minutes of losing all control dancing, I realized I was about to pee my pants. I started to walk over to these bushes about 5 yards away when I saw Charlotte Mitchell coming towards me.
"Charlotte! I'm so happy you made it. I'm sorry about your party getting cancel-" I was cut off by a hand across my face. I grabbed my cheek and just looked at the sand in disbelief. Am I dreaming? Did Charlotte just bitch slap me?
"You really think I would cancel my infamous party?" I could hear the anger in her voice rise with each word
"Charlotte, please. I consider us friends. Someone posted on Facebook that you canceled it. I would've never thrown a party if I knew you were too." I noticed all eyes were on me and my voice started to shake.
"Do you know how humiliated I am that more people showed up to your little beach get together than mine? Watch your back, DiMarco." As she walked away I noticed Margot Vanderbilt standing behind her. My head filled with rage and that's when I knew I was drunk. I ran over towards Charlotte and Margot.
"Hey, Charlotte!" She turned around and I punched her right in the face.
Charlotte fell to the sand and I immediately knew I did something bad but I couldn't stop myself.
"As a matter of fact, you should be the one watching yours, Mitchell." I whispered in Charlotte's ear and walked away.
As I made my way into the secluded brush, I heard Lennon's voice behind me and then I saw her face in front of mine. Everything was spinning and I had no idea what just happened. I looked down and saw my knuckles bleeding and couldn't hear Lennon's voice anymore. My peripheral vision started to get dark and blurry and soon enough I could barely make out Lennon.
Where am I?
What's going on?
Why can't I see?
Why can't I hear? These thoughts raced through my head as my senses were slowly drifting away and my legs felt like Jello.
"Sienna! Sienna, wake up. Sienna!" My eyes opened and I sat up, feeling super disoriented.
"You were out for 5 minutes. Are you okay?"
"What happened?" I managed to get those words out of my mouth before puking on the ground.
"Ugh, Sienna." Lennon held my hair back as I continued to get sick. My head was pounding.
"I'm gonna go find Celene and then we're gonna get you cleaned up and go home. Don't move." Lennon said as she tied my hair up into a top knot.
Some party, huh?
