Sienna's POV:
I was dancing on his patio table when I remembered where I was. I stopped for a second to remember why I was at Jared's house. I knew I was completely out of my mind, not to mention wasted. I knew I shouldn't be here. My conscience kept telling me to go home, to call the girls and let them know I'm okay. But I was feeling all sorts of emotions. Anger, resentment, sadness. They were flooding my brain and the alcohol just seemed to intensify the feeling. I had to see him. I needed to know why he did what he did to me.
I saw his friend, Logan, passing a joint around. After I took a couple hits, I could feel myself starting to relax. But I still was on a mission.
"Where's Jared?" I demanded.
"Oh, you didn't hear? Him and Kate are seeing each other. They're probably in his room." He said as the smoke rolled out, escaping his lips.
I rolled my eyes at the thought of Jared, let alone Jared Vanderbilt with Kate Armand.
"Why am I not surprised?" I muttered.
"Because it's Kate Armand. She gets it in every guy at school."
I nodded in agreement and went to the bar that was on his back patio. I took a shot of tequila, let it burn my throat, and proceeded to take another one. I started to dance by myself until I saw Jared and Kate walking out of his house holding hands.
"Well, look who it is!" I shouted as Jared's eyes met mine, bewildered.
"I could say the same about you. What are you doing here?" He got closer to me and his voice made my skin crawl.
"If you wanna know the truth, my party turned out to be a bust. And also, I found out I have a pretty good left hook." I couldn't stop myself from laughing because I couldn't believe I punched Charlotte.
"Yeah, she's right. She saw me walking to my car and tagged along." Logan chimed in.
Headlights flashed in his driveway and I saw figures walking closer to his backyard. My jaw dropped when I saw Lennon and Celene marching their way towards me.
"How did you find me?" I whispered in their ears
"Let's get out of here, Sienna. Honestly, what are you even doing here? Why did you come here?" Celene's voice sounded stern as she looked me in the eyes, a flash of disappointment leaving just as quickly as it had come.
"Can we just go?" I felt like my parents caught me at a boy/girl party and I was out past curfew. As we were walking back to the car I heard Kate shout "nice seeing you, Sienna!" with a sarcastic edge. I rolled my eyes so hard I swear I could see my brain.
The cold and crisp material of the leather seats produced goosebumps on my legs. I'm already a very cold person, no matter what the weather. I always have on sweaters and fuzzy socks when I'm home. My stomach started to rumble and I realized how hungry I was. I had barely eaten all night, the only thing I'd really consumed was alcohol.
"You need to tell us everything." Lennon turned around and demanded to know what happened.
"Can we stop somewhere to get food? I'm starved. I'll tell you all the details just please get food into my system before I pass out." I started chuckling due to my lingering buzz. I felt so relaxed, but I knew tomorrow was going to be a nightmare.
