Evaline pov (point of view)

As I finish unpacking what little belongs I have . I notice the house hasn't been lived in for years.

But what I also noticed was the necklace stopped glowing as soon as I walked into the door almost as if it lost what I was trying to seek .

"Just perfect I came here for nothing . Didn't see that one coming mom did you" I say in frustration

I realized that I am going to be staying here longer than I originally have planned.

I walk upstairs finding four bedrooms . I pick the one that looked in shape to sleep into.

The walls had a faded blue color that screamed "lonely" as soon as you walk into the bedroom. The bed was a twin size with blankets that look to be hand knitted. The closet had clothing that seemed to be my size almost as if a teenager was occupying this room a long time ago.

I walked back down stairs to the kitchen . it looked plain but mostly I was just looking for food since I haven't ate for three days straight as I suspected there was none.

I decided to go out to eat because the house was just so lonely and depressing just me being there by myself.

I get into my car and drive for a fast food place it seems this town had none so my best bet was a diner called "sally's diner".

I walk in and it seemed there where more teens than adults so I just sit in a booth next to a table filled with guys which I sensed they where werewolves but as I pretend I am human I try not to drawl attention.

A waitress comes the next minute.

"Hello welcome to sally's what can I get you to drink" she ask

"I will have some coffee and a glass of orange juice " I say

"Coming right up" she says with a smile

As I look into the menu I feel eyes starring at me . I look around to find out who is and notice a guy from the table next to me is starring as soon as I make contact he stops starring.

I hear him whisper something to the other guys but I couldn't hear because the waitress came back

"Alright I got your coffee here and a glass of orange juice. Now are you ready to order or would you like a couple more minutes to decide " she ask with the same smile

"No im ready" I say

"Alright what can I get you " she asked while taking out a pen and a pad

"Can I have a order of your pancakes and some hashbrowns with some toast and bacon" I say

"Alright coming up" she said

As soon as she left I felt multiple eyes on me and I turn my head and now all the guys where looking at me some with respect and excitement but one guy was looking at me with love and then it turned to disgust and rejection as soon as that came in he looked away.

Right then I decide too look away and never look back so I sit there waiting for my food as soon as I get a ring from my disposable phone that helps me keep in touch with my moms business partner who is basically like a uncle to me.

"Hey Evaline where are you now I want to visit to check up on you and make sure you have enough money and stuff " he asks always being concerned that im okay

"Im in a town called dreangt" I say

"You're where ?" he ask sound very concerned

"dreangt" I repeat myself

"What the hell are you doing there ? Are you crazy?" nevermind dont answer that question im on my way ill explain everything then. But for now what are you doing?" he ask

"Eating at a diner called sally's diner" I say while hearing stuff being thrown into bags

"Hurry up and finish your food and meet me where your staying " he says

"Alright " I say

He hangs up as soon as the waitress comes with my food.

"Alright I have a order of pancakes some hashbrowns some toast and a side of bacon" she says setting it down

"Is there anything else I can get you?" she ask

"That will be all thank you" I say returning her smile she has given me multiple of times she walks away to let me finish food. But one person couldn't leave me alone which was the guy at the table next to me i wonder what's his problem is.

Deciding that I couldn't finish my food because it was very uncomfortable when you have someone starring at you the whole time.

The waitress comes around the time I feel uncomfortable which I am grateful I don't have to wait.

"Are you all finished or would you like something else" she asks

"Actually im going to take this to go also with two orders of your number two to go" I say

"Alright coming right out" she says

Maybe getting food will help my uncle be less angry. As soon as I got boxes and was packing my food. The guy with the starring problem came and sat across me.

He just kept starring almost if he thought I was going to disappear any minute but also hating himself he was thinking that way.

I got tired of him just starring so I speaked first.

"Can I help you?" I ask

"What" he said still starring god he is dumb

"Can I help you?" I ask

"Im Cole and you are?" he ask

"Sorry I don't give my name to strangers or stalkers who stare at you while you're trying to eat" I say

He smiles "forgive me your just so beautiful. Oh my gosh im so wit I came here to say im not ready to settle down so leave me alone you got it" he says

"Shouldn't be a problem because I don't know you in fact I don't know why your here so if you'll excuse me im going to enjoy the rest of my day without stalkers watching me" I say while going to the cash register and paying for my food and getting the rest I leave a tip for my waitress and before I leave she says

"Thank you for eating at sally's diner . Hope to see you again " she says

And I was thinking not if I could help it.
