Juniper:
My eyes slowly fluttered open. They had moved me into a room with a single bed, dresser and mirror. I swung my legs down from the bed and padded over to the window. This room was overlooking the entrance of the Exile's base. As I gazed out of the view, memories of last night flashed back at me. I remember the pain most of all. The perks of being a half demon I guess is that my shallow cuts and bruises were absolutely gone. I looked at my hand expecting to see about week old cut from the whip and found smooth clear skin. I furrowed my eyebrows. That's odd, I'd never healed that quickly before... I thought. I explored the room a bit more and caught my appearance in the mirror. My hair was washed and my skin was free of grime and dust. I was wearing something different too. I had a white dress on, a night gown... Someone knocked on the door. Weird, if they wanted to come in, they could use the key. I had noticed the key hole on the door when I woke up and assumed I was locked in. I silently moved across the floor and peeked out. It was Jarred and I opened it wider. "You're awake, didn't expect that..." You were out for a shorter time then me." He mumbled. I looked at him confused. "What?" I asked. He stepped in and pulled up a chair. I sat down on the bed. We had to knock you out because the access pain we put you through would of took you out anyways." He said bluntly. "Access pain?!" I demanded an answer. We put you through treatment that boosted your system. It healed your wounds faster than naturally possible for a half demon. This would cause you tremendous pain considering how unnatural it is, it would have been a great surprise for your body to ensure that. Normally people wake up halfway through the second day. But you woke up the next morning." He said smirking. Obviously impressed. "We only do this if they're seriously hurt. Anyways. The fluids should be out of your system by now, so most of your wounds will be completely gone." He finished explaining and stood up. "I brought your sword and Irelia's katana like you requested. I'm on my way now to see her." He said. The girls name is, Irelia...? He walked out and I ran to catch up. He looked down at me questionably and I continued striding looking firmly forwards. "So," I said after a moment. "Which way?" I said. He smiled. "You're very strong spirited to be out of your room this quickly." He motioned a hand. "This way," he added and we stepped into the hospital.Irelia:
I woke up to the sound of footsteps, my body was still pretty sore. The door clicked. I saw who it was though the tinted glass. Jarred and Juniper. I turned around covering myself with the blanket, I stiffly positioned myself. I heard the door opened. I pretended to sleep, someone sat down on my bed next to me. It was Jarred, I could tell. "Still sleeping?" Juniper whispers from across the room. Jarred kept staring at me, I could feel it. "Come on. I've known you my whole life, I know when you're faking." He said softly, very unlike him. So kind and gentle, actually I do expect that. Under all the toughness was a boy who truly cared. I shifted my position and turned to him, staring at him, those blue eyes stared right back like he felt guilty, or even remorseful. "It's sad to see you like this..." He said emotionless. I looked at juniper who was in her gown. I looked down at myself, I had many bandages wrapped around me, I looked broken. Yet Juniper looked like not even a single hair was harmed on her. I kept silent. I noticed Jarred holding my Uchigatana. "I brought you it." He said sternly and quietly, Staring at the ground. He didn't want to look at me, he looked back at juniper and she shrugged her shoulders. He raised his hand about to touch my arm. I quickly reacted and hit him, smacking his hand away. "Don't touch me!" I said quickly and panicky. I instantly regretted that, not only did I hit my bestfriend but that was really painful on my body too. Wow, how selfish am I? Juniper had a shocked look on her face. He dropped my katana and stood up. His facial expression looked hurt, he then angled his head, his bangs covering his eyes. He turned and stormed out slamming the door. Juniper looked down at the floor and back at me. She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could speak I turned around in my bed and covered myself with the sheets.
