Juniper:
After breakfast, I thanked them for the meal. I tried a different approach and started being nice. It wasn't very hard. "So, what would you like to do today?" Simon asked and I looked at him startled, "You'll let me do stuff other than locking me in a room?" I said shocked. Simon sighed internally. "With me of course, we can't have you pulling any tricks" He said. I contained a scowl and nodded. "I understand" I forced out. Tsuki jumped up. "I'm coming too!" She said, Simon shook his head. "You stay and train with the others." He said sternly and turned away. I was surprised. She was still pretty badly hurt from the last encounter we had, and he expects her to train? I silently followed Simon and didn't say anything. We walked down the halls and I recognized my room. So I already knew how to get to the dinning hall. We walked by and he lead my further into their base. "Why did you take me? Why am I so important to everyone?" I asked. He slowed so we were walking side by side. "Well, really the Exiles want you because, at first they were just hunter the person responsible for the massacres in the villages. Then, I assume they wanted to keep you because you were an extremely rare half demon," I jumped in before he could say anything else. "And this is what you want me for too?" I assumed. He shook his head. "We are the government so were were also hunting the person responsible for that many deaths." I looked down. That many deaths, that many villages... "But then we realized we could befriend you, you would benefit out team a lot considering you are a half demon." I understood where he was getting at, but the more he explained the plans, the more I sounded like a weapon then an actual person. He continued explaining the set up of his troops and his plans of fighting, but I was concentrating on memorizing this place. Once we were done, I had a rough outline of what this place looked like. We went down for lunch and I went to my room after that. I sighed and laid down on my bed. I noticed a small vent near the ceiling. I slowly lowered myself off of the bed and got closer to the vent. It was about big enough for me to push through. I climbed onto the windowsill, balanced on it and put a foot on my dresser. I reached my hands up and my fingers caught on the edge. I pried the vent cover off and silently shifted most of my weight on my arms, inside the vent and and foot still on the dresser. I squeezed in and it was just big enough. I army crawled to to the next vent and looked down. It was the training room and I saw Tsuki struggling while the guard rushed at her again and again. I felt bad for her. Their training was brutal. I continued on and found that Simons room wasn't far from mine. I looked in and he was sitting at his desk. His hands were in his hair and he was shuffling though some papers. He suddenly pushed back from his chair and I ducked my head. He strode over to the window and looked out. I moved even more forwards and I found the kitchen, I found manny more rooms and then it went down vertically. There was a little ladder. I climbed down and found myself in a sewer. I took my cloak off and draped it over the middle wrung and proceeded. I didn't want to get lost so I marked which one I came down. I walked for a bit more and there was a fork in the pipes. I stopped and promised I would search these someday. I scurried back and through the pipes and grabbed my cloak. I overheard something when a I was crawling past Simon's vent. He was talking to another guard. "Yeah, yeah, I'll go give this to Tsuki and then I'll go get juniper ready." He said. I looked down and saw an envelope. Once the door was closed, he ripped the envelope open and started reading it. "Her guardian again? I thought we made it clear, not to contact her!" He scowled. He crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. Then he swung open his door. If he wasn't giving that to Tsuki, he would be coming for me. I gasped and started crawling faster. I needed to get there before he did it I would loose all this progress, forever. I slipped down from the vent and my feet touched the dresser. There was a knock on my door. I silently climbed down and placed the vent loosely back, it would have to do, he could come in anytime he wanted. I quickly jumped over to the door and tried the handle. This time it was unlocked. I opened the door and Simon was standing there. He walked in and I nervously glanced at the vent. Thankfully, he didn't notice. He opened my closet and sifted through my dresses. "What are you doing?" I demanded and grabbed his shoulder. He shook me off, but stepped away front the closet. "Look for something nice to wear, the King and Queen will be joining us for dinner tonight." He said. He checked his gold watch and started towards the door. I was in shock. The King and Queen! He stopped at the entrance. "Oh, and I'll send someone to run a hot bath and do your hair. He then walked away, the door closed noiselessly behind him. I was still in shock when a maid scurried me to the bath tub and had done up my hair. She selected a soft green dress and I got dressed. When I looked in the mirror, I looked amazing. I didn't get to look more because we were almost running late. I stepped into the dining room and found everyone else was already seated. Everyone turned to me and I hurried over to my usual seat. I kept my head down and Simon stared at me silently. "What" I said. "Nice entrance," he smirked and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah I know right." I said embarrassed. The dinner was over sooner than I expected and the king and queen were leaving. I got to personally hug the queen and then went to bed very tired. I planned on going through the vent again but then was too tired to do anything by sleep. The week flew by, I memorized the place inside out and even Simon became nicer and showed me he was more than just an ice block. Tsuki got more and more mad though. I learned to ride a horse and lots more fun things. I tried to leave twice, but it was always thousands against me. On the last day, Simon requested me to come to his office. they were going over battle plans to destroy the Exiles. I stopped and shook my head. "I'm not telling you anything!" I shouted. After lots of arguing, I pushed past the guards and ran to my room. I was a fool to trust Simon and his organization. I threw off the clothes I was wearing and changed into my old ones. I grabbed my bow out of the corner of my room. After lots of bribing, Simon let me keep my bow in my room because it was was special to me. I slung it over my shoulder and grabbed the vent covering. I tore it off and jumped in. I hit my head against the top of the vent and cursed myself. I crawled quickly to the sewers and ran. Without a plan, I just kept running and ran right every time it forked. I got to the surface and I was right next to the stables. I ran down the isle and stopped next to a female Asterion pedigree horse. They were really rare, fast, strong and their stamina is really good. I grabbed her mane and used a bucket to climb on her back. I urged her forwards and she burst free from the stall. A couple guards on duty chased after me, but I was faster. They didn't want to shoot at this prized horse so I made my easy escape. Suddenly, I heard shouts and gunshots. I saw Vlad zoom by and join the fight at the front gaits. "Vlad?" I said. His blur stopped and I saw him look at me. He raced up to me and the horse startled. "We, were rescuing you!" He said. I looked at the battle. "Oh no, I'm already free, but they don't know that!" I sighed and raced into battle with my mare. Vlad shortly behind us.Irelia:
I hid behind a corner, the three guards abruptly stopped in front of the poor dead man. "They got Reginald. They'll pay." They cocked their guns and proceeded down the opposite end of the hallway. "I'm sorry." I quietly said again. I went down the hallway hoping I could find something, just someone. Jarred, juniper... Vlad? I turned the hall and fell due to the impact of falling into someone. "You're kidding me right..?" The figure said. I looked up, it was Simon. "Oh no.." I whispered scrambling to stand up. He lowered his hand, "Here, take it." He said expecting me to take his hand. I slowly and cautiously lifted it, I placed my hand into his. I was very warm, my body tingled. It felt weird, I haven't seen him in such a long time. I wanted to hug him. He pulled me into an embrace, I jerked back. "Stop, don't you dare." I said looking over to his other hand expecting him to hold a weapon. He wasn't, I didn't know what to feel. "Calm down, I haven't see you in a while." He grinned. "I miss you..." He said with a cold stone face. I grimaced and looked at him cynically. "That's why you didn't kill me." I said matter of factly. "Well I mean I still care for you. Even though I hate your guts." He spat in my face. I slapped him instantly, he reacted and grabbed my wrist tightly. Then quickly loosened it, I know this guy. He's not this mean. "Let's go." He pulled me sternly dragging me through the halls. Why does he hate me, he has no right to. He was the one who left Jarred and I to die in the village ourselves. Which is now destroyed because of juniper. "Where are we going?" I pulled my hand back aggressively, he shook his head. "Looking for jarred." He sternly said without looking back.
