Juniper:
The explosions got closer. I stumbled on my feet and everyone else braced themselves. Vlad was at my side in an instant, helping me upright. "I won't let you fall." He said kindly. Even with his still blood lusting red eyes, he was still able to hold back around me and become his old self. As the explosions continued to come, he stayed by my side, ready to steady me again, but I had gotten used to the ground shaking and I held my ground firmer then before. Jarred shuffled us into the building and I looked around. Many people were crowding the stair wells and soldiers shoved past to get outside to protect the building. Jarred broke free of us to give orders and I turned my head, confused on what was happening and where to go. Vlad took my hand and gently, but firmly tugged me along. We helped Irelia down the stairs too. She struggled and fought us the whole way. It was pointless though with Vlad and my super strength. "No! I have to be out there! I have to be out on the front lines!" She screamed at us. One of the soldiers took her from us and firmly put her downstairs where it was safe. Vlad tried making me follow her but I stopped. "Aren't I fighting with you guys?" I said firmly. I set it up as a question, but He and I both knew there was only one right answer. He wouldn't meet my eyes and I forced him to look at me with my hand. "Right...?" I tried again. "Juniper..." He started, but I cut him off my zooming back up the stairs. I smirked to myself. Using my super speed, I was a blur to everyone else. I made it to the top of the stairs when my wrist was grabbed. Jarred was right, I was fast. But not as fast at Vlad. "Look, you're new here and this is out procedure, the injured and other people go downstairs where it's safe and the army and demons go fight, there the only people who know how to fight, and the demon hunters we have." He explained. I shook my head. "But I'm like Jarred! I'm a half demon! I should be out there!" I objected. His grip tightened. "But they're after you! And it would be easy for you to harm you if your right there!" He shouted and I wrenched free. "No, I have to fight." I said sternly. I was right about this. I had to protect this place. It's me they want, so I'm not going to sit by and watch other people risk their lives for me. "No!" Vlad said again. I stared at him, hard. "Don't fight me on this." I said, my cool emerald eyes piercing into him. He stopped immediately, I took my chance and ran. I ran to the front and Jarred looked behind him at me. "You're supposed to be inside!" He yelled and slashed with his sword. I ignored him and jumped up. I scaled the building and crouched low. I got out my bow and yanked my quiver off my shoulder. The arrows spilled out and I grabbed three. I shot from up here, I pulled back hard on the string and took out three men. People didn't notice until ten went down. The started looking up and I ducked behind the edge of the roof. I crawled to a different location and set up there. I took out many people and I felt really successful. I heard the click of a guns safety and I froze. "The way Tsuki came back, I would have expected a more rough around the edges girl, oh well. I guess it's the power that counts." I could hear the smile in his voice. I turned my head just in time to see a flash of blonde. Then I felt a sharp prick in my arm. Everything went black.Irelia:
I grunt, "this isn't fair..." I shifted my position. I ran toward one of the guards. He assumed what I was going to say. "I got ordered by Vlad to not let you out." He said with his hands in the air. "And since when did Vlad go up to a higher rank then me?!" I proclaimed matter of factly, I raised my fist and pounded it against my other Palm. I didn't want to threaten him, but I had to. It's my village too. His mouth slanted, he then sighed and motioned me to go upstairs. I nod and smile, "thank you." I say as I run upstairs. Jarred has his commander jacket on, he looked at me as he was ordering more troupes outside. "Irelia! You're going to get hurt." He said sternly and gently pushing me towards the stairs. I scoff, "No, I'm getting my uniform." I said barley running past him. I heard him sigh and run after me, I managed to get into my old hospital wing before he caught me. My uniform! I saw it leaned up against the closet. I rushed and put everything on, I almost bursted the door down as I exited. Jared sigh, "please be safe." He said, we stood there staring at eachother. "Where's juniper?!" I said thinking. He shook his head knocking him out of his daze. "Dammit, with Vlad I hope." He said. We both stormed down the hallway, "I'll go look, you order the others." I winked at him and dashed out. I heard a few gunshots, the men were all looking up. I swallowed hard and quickly lept up, I jumped from wall to wall and up the roof. I looked around and saw juniper on the ground. A blond boy spat off the roof and began to pick her up. I threw myself up the roof, I know I'm going to regret this but no time to get Vlad or Jarred. Vlad... "You, let her go." I said un sheathing my katana. As I slowly pulled it out. It started to glow blue, the boy smirked. "Oh what a waste of time. Did that phoney half demon teach you that?" He said fully facing me, dropping Juniper ruthlessly to the ground. My eyes go wide, "simon..." I quietly said. Simons eyes light up, he then masks his face looking down. He then grins and looks up. "Well, well. Let me guess, that low life half demon is my brother isn't it?" He asked, supporting his ak-47 on his shoulder. I jerk my head down, "You left us. Don't call him that you scum." I said gripping my katana as it glowed stronger. "I'm not a demon so you might want to calm down with that magic." He said scoffing. "You might as well be one." I muttered to myself. "What was that?" He fake smiles. "You'll pay for all the trauma you have caused to jarred, me... All of us." I said switching the katana to both hands. Two handing it. "I won't waste bullets on you, you're already injured..." He cuts himself off. I couldn't see him, his speed was impeccable. Almost like mine. He spawned behind me. "I can already tell. I could feel his breath on my neck. I threw my hands backwards with all my strength that I could hit him with the hilt of my katana. He easily dodged and grabbed my wrist. He dragged me backwards, bringing me close to the edge of the roof. " I could let, all my men. Shoot you right now, but I cant. I need you." He said deeply at the last part. My katana dropped from my hand as his words hit me like a bullet. How ironic, "I can get Jarred if I use you as a hostage. Win... Win.. For me." He cackled. I could feel his hand rise, I tried to struggle but he threatened me again. His men were patrolling the grounds. I could hear Jarred's commands. My head geeked as something hard collided with my skull. I passed out.
