Dangerous Game.

Cheating.

That's exactly what Ryan and Jonathan were doing now. It had been weeks since the kiss and the boys had found themselves in a pool of lust. They craved one another like a drug.

Every time Ryan got off work now he'd spend time with Bryce and start to leave every morning at six just to stop by the hotel and meet with Jonathan. It was risky, due to the fact he'd be late but soon enough he grew into the schedule and was able to get to work on time leaving Bryce none the wiser.

In Cupid's Hotel lovers gathered to filler the air with moans or groans of delight and disapproval. That's exactly what always filled their rooms now. No matter how hard they tried to stay away it never worked.

Tonight Ryan had sat on the couch holding Bryce close to him when his phone buzzed. Of course Bryce didn't really pay attention as his eyes were glued on the tv where a horror story played. Ryan checked his phone to see it was Delirious causing him to stand to his feet and exit to outside.

"Hello?"

"Ryan," the other began. "Can we meet tonight? At the hotel?"

"I don't know man," Ryan looked back to Bryce who was inside on the couch still. "Bryce is still awake and I'm wanting to spend time with him. Besides, I'll see you in the morning."

"I know..just-alright."

"Alright man, bye."

Ryan walked back in after deleting the call and sat beside Bryce who shared him a look. "It was my mom she wanted to know how we were doing.." Ryan said, smiling at Bryce. Bryce only nodded and continued to watch the movie causing Ryan to eye him suspiciously.

Bryce knew something was going on and Ryan was hiding it. At first, he believed him but then he began to accept the fact that his lover might be lying to him and hiding something. Cheating? Bryce never once thought of that. He still doesn't.

To Bryce, Ryan was one too kind to do that to someone so he had marked out that thought. Bryce hated to admit he was worried about his relationship with Ryan but wouldn't tell him because it'd start an argument. Now he was slowly drifting away in them thoughts.

"Bryce?" Ryan's voice snapped him back to reality harshly. "You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine why?"

"Zoned out.." Ryan pulled him closer and allowed Bryce to listen to the beat of his heart. Bryce sighs as he closes his eyes and takes in the sound. "Ryan I..forget it."

"What's wrong? Talk to me Bryce."

"It's nothing okay? Just tired.." Bryce watched Ryan as he gave a look to him. He could tell he wasn't buying it so he leaned down and gave a peck to his lips.

---

Smoke came from the cigarette one last time as Ryan smashed the face of it into the ash tray and stood to his feet. In the bed was Jonathan who was facing him and watching him get dressed. His eyes studying the way Ryan moved and buckled his pants as if he were a god.

"Do you have to leave?" Jonathan finally asked, raising from the bed with a frown. Ryan didn't look back at him as he sighed. "You know I do." He turned on his heel and leaned on the bed to give him a kiss on the lips. As he pulled away and made his way to the door he was stopped by three words that came from Jonathan's mouth, "I love you.."

His heart sunk as the image of his previous lover came to mind, dragging the memory of them at Luke's place with him. He swallowed hard and built up the courage to step out the door and close it behind him. Leaving Jonathan in nothing but silence.

Ryan got in his car and turned it on before slamming his hands on the steering wheel in anger. Tears had built up in his eyes so when he took a breath it was shaky and nerve wrecking. The man he loved just told him he felt the same but there was a big problem for Ryan. As much as he wanted to tell him he didn't know if Jonathan was just stuck in lust or if it actually was love.

He swallowed hard as he grabbed the wheel and began to leave the hotel so he could make it to work. This day was going to tear him apart.

---

Ryan walked through the door and was met by Bryce who was wearing a white dress up shirt with some blue jeans. Ryan stood there for a moment as he eyed down the boy who stood in front of him with a smile glued to his face. "Welcome home!" Bryce said, cheer holding his tone. "What's this?" Ryan choked out, scratching the back of his head.

"Dinner, I figured since you've been working a lot you could use it..is it to much?" Bryce's tone suddenly went hesitant as his smile formed a frown. "I didn't want to go all out b-"

"It's great!" Ryan suddenly said, bringing Bryce into a hug. His smile turned into a frown when he pulled him into the hug as guilt clawed at his feet. He knew the feeling would stay so he didn't know why he continued to do what he was doing but he did know one thing, Jonathan took the pain away a little every day.

Ryan and Bryce pulled away and Bryce lead him to the kitchen where food laid spread out on the table. They took their seats and began to dig in while talking.

"So Ryan," Bryce's tone got serious. "You okay? You seem to be down in thoughts lately.."

"I'm fine."

"Ryan you can trust me," Bryce sat his hand over his boyfriends. "I'm here for you.."

"I know.."

"Okay, I love you." Bryce smiled faintly as he pulled his hand away. He watched as Ryan gave him a crooked smile in response and not the words he wanted.
