Y/N's POV

She has shiny black hair and brown eyes, looking weary and feeble, yet she seems to be incredibly happy to see Lord Levin when she runs to him. Dante comes up to me and puts a big hand on my shoulder.
"Sh-she's come back... my old lord..."
"A-Aphmau...?"
"Yes..." He murmurs and I think I see his eyes tear up a bit. That's a first... Wait. If Aphmau is here...
"Is Laurence here too?" I ask and feel my fingers cross. Dante shrugs, but he answers,
"He was with Aphmau. She said he was at Ungrth's grave." I don't even hesitate. My F/C sword clanks against my leg as I run. The bright sun in my eyes seems to try to push me back, but nothing can stop me from reaching the grave of the wyvren that had saved me. Laurence is here. I haven't seen him in forever... Suddenly stopping in my tracks, I see someone. Someone by Ungrth's grave. But he's not... not Laurence... He must've heard my feet skid to a stop against the dirt because he turns to look at me. He has light brunette hair and bangs that try to cover his eyes, which are a dazzling blue. An emerald sword is strapped to his back. The face of him is farmiliar: the big eyes, the tiny freckles that you can barely see on his cheeks, the tan skin, the thin lips, and the small dimple on his left cheek. I don't even know who I'm looking at... Something within me is begging me to open up my mouth, but I refuse it and just sprint toward the man and throw my arms around him. I lean my head on his chest and I feel him stroke his hand through my hair.
"Y/N...?! Is that really you...?!" He gasps and I remember that voice all too well. If I hadn't seen what he looks like I would've started crying and telling him about everything. About waiting for him at the wall gates for a year. But I have no clue who this person is that I'm hugging, so I release him from my grasp and stare at him again, now up close. He looks my age and Laurence should be around forty or something by now, basing it off of how old he was when I met him. Just like Aphmau, he looks a bit weary and I can see a bruise on his cheek, as well as slight bags under his eyes.
"Who are you?!" I ask him, but it sort of comes out as a demand. A look of surprise suddenly slaps onto his face and he looks down at himself before looking at me again.
"It's me... Laurence..."
"You don't look like Laurence..."
"I don't...?"
"No."
"Look closer," he says softly and I just stare at him. I can't look any deeper than I already have and my heart is pulling in two different directions.
"You can't be."
"But I can. And I am, Y/N, I am."
"W-well..." I think for a second, "If you're the real Laurence... what did you say to me when we crashed... when you and Ungrth saved me from the Nether...?" The man stands and think for a moment before looking deep into my eyes.
"Run, Y/N. Run."
"Anyone would know that you said that."
"Oh really? Would anyone random ever remember your name?! Y/N, just believe me... there may be a long story behind this, but you just need to believe it's me. Laurence. Just trust me." I stare at him, letting his dazzling blue eyes suck me in. I feel like... I think... I think I...

I trust him.
