Hopeless

Maine's POV

Umiyak ako maghapon pagkatapos akong iwanan ni Alden. Wala man lang akong makausap sa bahay dahil hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin sila dumadating.  

Nagayos ako and decided to went to Padis. The crowd went wild with the loud music. I can smell the smoke and alcohol everywhere. 

"Tequila with lemon please" at dali dali kong ininom. Isa. dalawa. tatlo. Hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang shots na ang nainom ko. Blurred na ang paningin ko ng may tumabi sakin. Hindi ko na ito mamukhaan kase medyo madilim at talagang may tama na ako.

"Hi?Oh the famous Maine Mendoza right?" I laughed on what he said.

"Just Maine. I'm annoyed to people calling me that way"

"Oh I'm sorry. I'm Psalm Agustin" he extend his arm and I just starred at him.

"So you're not Alden Richards?"

He laughed.

"No." 

"Then go away" He was shocked what I was told and just leave.

I checked my phone and found nothing. So he forget about me huh.

Umalis ako sa bar ng hindi makalakad ng maayos. Umiikot na yung pangin ko at hindi ko alam kung kaya ko pang magdrive. 

I just found myself at the front of his door.

I knocked and no response. Hinintay ko kung may Rj na lalabas pero wala. Walang nagbukas ng pinto. Tinanggal ko ang heels ko at umupo sa sahig. I feel the cold floor and started to cry but no one came out until everything went black.

Alden's POV

Kakatapos lang ng shoot ko halos madaling araw na ako ng makarating sa pent ko. I was on the corridor when I noticed someone lying on the floor. 

Dali dali kong pinuntahan ng makilala kung sino yun.

"Meng. Meng wake up." I poke her but still no response.

"Meng get up malamig ang sahig" she slightly moved but still asleep. 

I carried her bridal style and put on the couch. She's drunk and I'm not with her. She's wearing this fucking short dress and I'm not with her!Naginit ang ulo ko habang naiimagine those men fantasizing Maine's body!

I starred at her and noticed that her swollen eyes. Nabigla ako ng bigla syang bumangon at nagsuka sa sahig. 

"Maine are you alright?"

"Yes, I am! HAHAHA" she stared at me for a while and asked me " Are you Alden Richards?If not go away. I don't need someone else." Tsk!She don't even recognize me. Napahawak ako sa sintido ko. Sumasakit ang ulo ko sa kanya. First time nangyare sakin na magalaga ng lasing na babae.

"I'm Alden can I talk to you?"

"Liar! Hindi ikaw shi alden!hik! Shi Alden umalis. Inawan si Meng" sigaw nya sakin habang dinuduro ako. She's now crying.

"Meng ako to si Alden. " Hinampas nya ako saka umiyak ng malakas. I hugged her but she's not hugging me back. She pushed me kaya binitiwan ko sya.

"All my life I was waiting for the person who can treat me their everything. I sucks in every fucking relationship. I always dreamed to have a fairy tale like but It feels like I'm not worth it to have one." 

She just starred at the floor while speaking.

"Then The Great Richard Faulkerson Jr. came. The perfect one. The one I am dreamed about. He came unexpectedly and makes me happy. " She looked at me and smiled and tear fell from her cheeks. 

"He came just like that. He just came and I fell for him. And who I am? The Nobody Maine Mendoza. The girl behind the curtains!"

" All my life I was on the shadow. Sa parents ko, sa mga kapatid ko. sniff* Ako yung hindi napapansin, ako yung walang talent, hindi maganda, ako rin yung  hindi matalino. There's nothing special about me." Una unahang pagtulo ng luha nya at wala akong magawa kundi yakapin sya. 

"There's noting special about until he came. But then he just did the same. He denied me at front of everyone and it feels like I'm nothing to him." 

then she fell asleep.
