*Kevin's P.O.V*
I was in the library reading the book that Masky gave to me, it was filled with information on weird and creepy monsters, Dragons, Fairies, Mindless knights, Ghouls and ghosts, it was filled to the brim with weird and mythological creatures, apparently those things exist here, its not very reassuring. After a while of reading I came by something called primal mages, these creatures are the most feared creatures in the world, they would kill for sport, primal mages would always wear masks. I read some more, primal mages are very aggressive creatures they would not hesitate to kill a entire village if it stood in their way, there were some drawings of these creatures on the side, they were just human wearing a mask, they all had the same eyes, totally black with white glowing pupils, just like Masky. There also was a picture of a primal mage without mask, they looked totally normal except for two things, their mouth were sown shut and their eyes were nonexistent, it was very creepy, I read some more, primal mages are the only creatures who can live without any emotion at all, some legends state that the only weakness of a primal mage emotion is. Okay, im pretty sure that Masky a primal mage is, I mean people seem very afraid of him and he just looks like a powerfull person, and he doesn't appear to have any emotion at all besides anger. "So? Do you have more knowledge now about this world?" I heard Masky suddenly say, it scared me to death. "Yeesh, you need to stop creeping up on me, I'll get a bloody heart attack." I said, Masky just stared into my soul again, ugh... I dont like when he does that. "Heh, you just need to be more aware of your surroundings." He said. "So, do you understand this world better now?" He said. "Kinda, its still a bit strange, I know for a fact that humans are horrible here." I replied with a nervous smile. "Heh... yep, luckily you have nothing to fear, I see that you read about primal mages?" He asked, he looked at the book. "Yeah, and I'm 99 percent sure that you are one of them." Masky looked at me again. "You are right, how did you know exactly?" He asked while tilting his head slightly to the right. "Well, people seemed absolutely afraid of you when we were in that town, your voice absolutely lacks any emotion, and you wear a mask for some strange reason." I told him with a smirk. "But, I have a question, in the book it states that primal mages mouths are sown shut, but you can still talk, how exactly?" I continued, Masky chuckled. "You really like asking questions dont you?" I rolled my eyes. "Just answer my question." Masky sighed, he shifted his mask a bit so I could see his mouth a bit, his mouth was covered in scars. "Does that give you a answer?" He said, he quickly put the mask back. "Wow... that must have been painfull." Masky nodded. "But why exactly do they sow the mouths shut of primal mages?" Masky let out a deep sigh. "It prevents us from speaking out any terrible curses, when a new primal mage gets born they sew the mouth shut, its very painfull to watch, believe me." I simply nodded. "Why did you rip it out?" I asked curiously, it was actually interesting to hear all this. "Because I didn't want to live my whole life like a true primal mage." He said, his voice sounded sad, another emotion to check of the list. Masky got up from his chair. "Come, I'm going to train you, you are in dire need of a lesson self defense." Masky said to change the subject probably, I got up and followed him.
We went to a open place in the forest. "First you're going to need a weapon." Masky summoned some weapons on the ground, a bow, a crossbow, a sword and throwing knives. "Ehmm... you do know that I have never used one of these weapons before?" I looked at Masky, he just shrugged. "That's why we are here, you'll need to learn how to defend yourself using one of these things." He crossed his arms, I walked over to the sword and picked it up, it was nice and light. "So you choose the sword? Good choice." Masky said, he summoned a sword. "Lets try your skills out." He said, he got ready in a fighting stance. "Wait wait wait, im not gonna fight you, I barely know how to handle such thing." I quickly said, I felt like of he fought me now I would be chopped up in tiny pieces. "You'll know when you fight." Masky charged towards me and slashed his sword down, I managed to deflect it with my sword, he went for another swing but I managed to dodge it, I slashed back at him but he quickly teleported away, I looked around me trying to see where he would appear, I felt his presence behind me so I quickly turned around to cut him but he quickly teleported away again, suddenly I got pushed onto the ground, I felt the blade of Masky's sword against my neck. "Heh... not good enough yet." He withdrew his sword. "Hmpf, I could have won if you didn't teleport." I said while getting up from the ground. "Sure, they say dream big but you need to tone it down a bit." I crossed my arms. "But I got to say honestly, your dodging skills were pretty good, after that we went to practice for a few hours.
