After the amazing hangout session at the ice-cream shop, and lots of arguments over favorite music bands, I stayed behind with Jamie.

“Hey, Sammy. See you tomorrow.” Jacob winked at me.

“What?” I asked confused.

“Yeah. See you tomorrow, Sam-ers.” Mark chimed in.

“What are you two up to?” I rolled my eyes and smiled.

“Whatever do you mean? We’re not up to anything…nothing bad at least.” Jacob smirked.

And with that last comment, they both left.

“They’re up to something and I know it’s nothing good.” I groaned.

Jamie chuckled, then said, “It’s not that bad.”

“You know what they’re going to do!?” I said quicker than expected.

“Yeah. It should be interesting.” He smirked.

I looked at my watch.

“Crap…my little brother would be home and I’m not there to make him dinner…fudge…” I said under my breath.

“Well come on!” He yelled with a smirk on his face, and he lifted me off the floor the same way he did in the park.

We burst through the doors and he ran to the park, where he left his motorcycle. Gently, he rested me on the back of the motorcycle and then he jumped on in front. I held onto his waist. This will be the first time I drove at the back of a motorcycle.

“Hold on.” He smirked.

“Oh, I know.” I smirked back.

As soon as the words rolled off my tongue, we flew down the road. I didn’t even see where we were going, until I saw the fork in the road that lead to my street. It was already night. We pulled into my driveway. I looked up at the sky.

Why is the night sky so beautiful?

I don’t know. You want me to ask the person who created it? Oh wait. I can’t. Cause then I’d have to die!

Alright, alright. Chill.

Well stop focusing on the sky! Focus on the hot dude that your hands are wrapped around!

I looked at Jamie and found myself smiling like a retard. He jumped off the motorcycle, and put his hands around my waist to lift me off the motorcycle. When he lifted me off the motorcycle, I looked into his eyes. Eventually he realized I was staring and he, too, looked into my eyes. Time seemed to freeze as he gently rested me on the floor. I blushed, smiled and averted my attention to the night sky once again. He, too, looked at the sky.

“Beautiful…” We both said simultaneously.

We both looked at each other again.

“I know, right? The night sky is so beautiful.” I said while looking at the sky again.

“I wasn’t talking about the sky…” He said so soft and smooth…like silk.

His hands were still on my waist. All of a sudden a little girl came running outside yelling, “Jamie!!!”

Jamie looked at her, smiled, and stooped to catch her. She hugged him and he lifted her off the floor.

“And, how is my little princess going?” He asked her.

“Good.” She giggled.

“ No mischief?” He asked, imitating a parent.

“No. I’m a good girl.” She smiled.
