Artist problems

Okay so I don't know how many of you are artists or anything in that area but if you are then you can cry with me on these, and if you can't relate to me on these consider yourself lucky

Okay okay so weather your drawing with a pencil and sketch book or a drawing tablet you can agree with me its fucking hard ESPECIALLY if you want to do something in that area as a profession its like "oh that looks horrible no one would want that I'm gonna go kill myself now"

And don't even get me started on people who know how you feel towards your art and they call it shitty like wow thanks now my hatred for it just doubled. And its a dick move to call an artists work shitty, like dude they worked hard on that but when they know your self conscious about it and they insult it its like okay and here is the biggest fucking douche ever like one of my old friends would always do that to me he would see whatever I drew and point out all the things I messed up on and I would just be like "oh daym he's right" and I would always just end up staring at it while screaming internally. Like if your friend does that and calls your work horrible just dont talk to then their probably a huge asshole like just talk to someone who will actually support you on your work trust me you'll feel much better even if its just like your sister or something

Okay so here's another one- when someone is a natural with drawing and they say it's horrible or just generally don't understand why you get frustrated when you draw like I get you didn't need to go through the process of learning how to draw but don't be drawing your perfect hands in pen while I'm struggling to draw a arm in pencil and I hate it when they draw something I'm just starring at because its just that good and they just throw it away and say its ugly. Like. No. WHY. Like yeah your self conscious about it that's understandable but you draw only twice a year and look now your drawing is in the bin good job you made me jealous and mad at you within like ten minutes

One of my pet peeves with drawing is when someone finds out you draw and goes "oh can you draw me" like no, I'm not (this is at 420) going to draw you I barely know you like why is it so important they need to see a half assed picture of them, because let's face it if you actually draw them you barely tried on it

Okay so I can go on with this forever because art is hard, but I mostly just wanted to get to 420 words and if I don't stop now this is going to be to long so that's it for now bye
