Hey guys! This is my first story on wattpad! I hope everyone likes it! Dont be afraid to leave me some feedback !

“Alright, alright, get ya fuckin’ hands off me!”

He stirred from his sleep, looking up at the culprits who had entered his room. He shook his head. Room was such a kind word; cell was more like it. Why anyone would disturb him was beyond his control. It was almost pitch black, so he figured it was still night. He may have been new to this whole thing, but he knew when things were outdated, and his Alpha had no apparent idea of the word as his whole pack house looked like something out of a period piece film.

“Hey! What did I just say? I’ll have the Alpha know about this!”

The shrill female voice that had spoken earlier was followed by fading laughter as whoever was apparently manhandling her walked away.

“Pricks.” He heard harshly whispered to his right.

He turned in his uncomfortably itchy cot. The voice had been close. A bit too close for his liking. Either she was in the cell next to him or-

“OW! Jesus give a girl some warning!”

He jumped out of the bed like it was burning as he felt someone leaning down on him. Whoever had spoken was not just close, but in the cell with him. He pat the walls searching for his source of light, the barely lit fire torch hanging on the corner of the wall. The stone walls were meant to keep the prisoners cold, the torches lit only a few hours each night. Luckily for him, he had light.

Taking a deep breath, he whirled around, the torch held in front of him, almost afraid of what he’d see. His breath held, he saw a small girl brushing dirt off her legs. Small was an understatement. Wolves, werewolves, were meant to be huge. They were meant to be tall, monstrous, beast-like creatures. Terrifying to the eyes. Hell, even he had grown a few inches after he was bitten. Yet, here was this girl standing at barely five foot four, growling at him. Wait! She was growling at him? This was his cell.

“Who are you?” He asked slowly to the scowling little wolf staring up at him. Maybe she was a newborn. They did age faster than what was considered the norm. That would be the only explanation for her height. And the fact that she looked skinny enough to break.

“Hey, screw you buddy I don’t have to answer anything.” He watched her run to the bars of the cell, gripping onto them angrily. “STUPID ALPHA!” She shouted. “STUPID MUTT! YOU GAVE ME A CELL WITH SOMEONE ELSE YOU ASS!”

He ran to the girl and gripped her arm, pulling her away from the bars. Was she insane? She had just insulted the Alpha! The Big Dog. Their leader. Even he knew that. Cursing this newcomer, he prayed they would spare them. The Alpha’s wrath was legendary, his punishments even more so. They were so completely dead.

He was about to put his hand over her mouth before she could cause more damage, when he was flung across the small cell into the stone wall behind them. He groaned as his back collided with harsh stone and slowly sat up. Well, that was certainly unexpected.

The torch was now all but extinguished as it lay forgotten on the floor. Yet, he could still make out her face. And boy was it pissed off. She crouched down next to him and pulled his hair turning his head to the side, forcing him into submission. Baring her teeth at him, she spoke intentionally slowly. “You. Ever. Lay your hands on me again pup,” She spat the word as the insult it was meant to be. “And I will have your head.” She growled at him some more before stalking away to the other side of the cell.

Whoever this woman was he didn’t care. In fact, he thought he was in love with her.

Looking up at her amazed at the brute strength she had used against him, he rubbed his neck. “Forgive me,” He breathed a bit dazed. “But you would have gotten us killed had you continued insulting the Alpha.”
