Moonlight peered in through the cracked open window, a slight breeze caused chills to run across the blonde women, she was beautiful and wore a white lab coat, she seemed peaceful at the desk, but a little tense.

"I always thought of it, someday becoming the best and brightest Psychiatrist in all of Gotham, I knew that was a lot to work up to but I knew it wasn't impossible, if I worked hard enough it could happen-"

"Harleen, What're you still doing here?" Dr Leland asked, the focused woman who looked startled as she turned over in her chair, almost falling out.

"I- I'm just finishing up some research for Dr. Arkham. What're you still doing here?" The blonde psychiatrist stood from her seat, gracefully patting down her lab coat.

Dr. Leland was another respected Doctor in Arkham, Harleen always took an interest in her.

"I just finished up with Wesker, he's a good guy, he's just a little..." Leland was trying to think of the word, but Harleen knew every word to describe that maniac, but she knew she shouldn't say anything to Leland. She always seemed to connect with these freaks.

"Who am I treating?" Harleen had to get permission from Dr. Leland if she wanted to treat the more dangerous patients.

Leland began to laugh as Harleen asked that question, why was she laughing, What was so funny? "And who would you like to treat?" Leland smirked, she didn't want Harleen to treat the more dangerous patients, she still wasn't a complete "professional"

"I don't know... I'll think about it," Even though Quinzel already knew who she wanted to treat, Leland nodded and handed something to Harleen "What is this?"

"List of available patients awaiting serious treatment, choose wisely. But I advise you to stay away from one in particular..." Leland pointed to a mug shot of one man, he was sickening but he didn't frighten Harleen at all.

"I want him." Harleen smiled, luckily Leland didn't notice, or else she'd think Harleen was insane.

"The Joker? He's a criminal mastermind, he's dangerous Harleen, I do not want you near him, OK?" Harleen was already taking interest in this man, she didn't even personally know him yet.

Quinzel stayed up all night researching this Joker figure, he was so interesting to Harleen, she wanted to know everything about this sociopath.

"This man was like no other person I've treated, I've never treated someone as imbalanced as him."

Harleen continued staring over news article photos and file photos of this Joker guy, his sickening pale look, dark green hair and piercing green eyes. He was someone a deranged psycho would die over. He was perfer-

Her textbooks were scattered in her bed as well was her laptop which was rested on her lap.

"This man was different, he had something about him that made him stand out," Harleen was sure on treating The Joker, it was dangerous but she didn't care.

Quinzel started to scribble in her red and black notepad that was carelessly thrown on her nightstand, she had jot notes on this man.

Tall, distinctive green hair, insane eyes, bleached skin, permanent smile, and a purple suit. That's all Harleen had on appearance wise of this man, as she flipped the page, it was filled with information about this man. She really took a liking in him.

Smiling to herself, Dr. Harleen Quinzel was ready to take on the patient of a lifetime.
