Before I drifted off to sleep, i feel a tentative tap on my shoulder.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?"
I look up and see a boy, he had short brown hair. He was wearing a green shirt with blue jeans.
He was staring at me and I realized that I hadn't answered his question.
"Oh! Sure, you can sit here. I'm Samantha, Sam for short."
"I'm Carson. I'm new here. Could you show me where to go?"
I hadn't realized that we had reached the school, Johnson High.
"Sure!" I quickly got up, implying that he should stand up too.
"We should get your schedule first, then I can show you where everything is." I said, walking off the bus, walking into the school, towards the office.
"Thank you." Said Carson, "For your help I mean, I thought I would be lost today, left to wander the halls until somebody took pity on me."
I nod in understanding. "I was a new kid at some point too. It wasn't until my friends Hannah and Sarah found me, well I thought they were my friends, now I'm not too sure.
Silence fell upon us, until Carson spoke up.
"Sam, I'll be your friend, I mean, if you want to be friends." Said Carson, tentatively.
