I let out a sigh as I gripped onto the cold metal handle, pulling it towards me, the door opening as I walked in when it was halfway open, my grip loosening on the cold metal handle, taking a few steps into the schools main hallway, hearing the door shut behind me a bit harshly.

I forgot the door shuts hard if you don't shut it slowly behind you, but I guess I forgot

I got to admit, the door scared me for a split second. I let out another sigh, this time a loud and soft one as I walked down the hall, walking to my locker as my feet dragged against the floor, my head drooping which practically made my hair curtain my face away from everyone.

Getting near my locker, I lifted up my head, seeing very similar people standing there in a small circle while laughing.

A smile instantly appeared on my face as I began to run towards them, stopping to walk just a couple feet away from them and popping my way into the circle, joining in on the conversation. "Hey guys!" I blurted out happily, looking at all three of my best friends with a big smile planted onto my face, holding my arms out wide enough for all three of them to hug me.

"Dakota!" They all spat out my name in sync, all three of them hugging me at the same time as usual.

I giggled slightly as soon as they hugged me, tightening my hug slightly to make them get squished up a bit.

They all pulled away one by one. The first one to pull away was Kendra, then Grace pulled away second and the last one to pull away was Jordan.

Oh my god, they're all so beautiful compared to me!

Kendra was always wearing her dirty blonde hair up in a ponytail, strands of hair on each side of her face as she was showing her beautiful, gentle, kind and deep blue eyes for everyone to see. As for her clothes that she always wore, she always wore her plaid long sleeved shirts, the sleeves rolled up to her elbows to add more style to her appearance, as she always wore different shades of ripped jeans, whether they were dark blue, light blue, a medium shade of blue or faded light blue, and as usual she was wearing her black laced hiking boots.

Grace had her curly, jet black hair down every day, her dark hazel eyes always seemed to be sparkling no matter what. As for her clothes, she always wore dresses. Mainly dresses that were knee length that had floral or tribal prints on them, and to match her dresses she always wore a pair of white pair of flats. Including a flower crown that perfectly fit her head, and it was decorated with red and pink flowers.

Finally, Jordan. Her medium shade of orange hair was always in a 'messy bun' with little strands of hair falling to her face, and as for her eyes, they were a perfect shade of green, her eyes that were not to dark, nor to light, they were   always so perfect, delicate and calming to look into. She would always wear leggings with tank tops and sweaters, that were always zipped up a few inches from the top, and for her shoes she wore either Nike, Adidas or Air Jordan's.

Then there was me, just plain and dull out of all four of us. As for me, I had boring chestnut brown hair, my eyes a dull shade of auburn brown eyes. My choice of fashion? I always wore sweat pants, a baggy sweater or t-shirt, my chestnut brown hair always down hanging past my shoulders and my shoes were always my red pair of Adidas shoes, in which that were all dirty.

"How was your weekend?" Grace squealed as she jumped up and down a bit with a smile, soon she stopped jumping up and down and gasped loudly, her smile gone as her mouth was a bit wide from her loud gasp. "DID YOU MEET ANYBODY THIS WEEKEND!?" She asked me out loudly, attention drawing to us as she had a tight grip on my arm shaking me, "PLEASE TELL ME Y-"

I quickly used my hand to cover up her mouth before she could finish her last sentence as I just cut her off. "Shush!" I yelled for only them to hear, "Don't talk that loud, what if someone came up to me!? You know how I feel about that, Grace!" I spoke, still loud enough for their ears to hear only.

"So, Dakota, did you?" I heard Kendra bud into the conversation as well as Jordan. "Tell us, please!" They both begged at the same, making their best puppy dog eyes and pouting.

Great, now how could I refuse to tell them? They always use that method on me, and it works every time still! Ugh, I hated when they did this, but I loved them for it.

"Fine," I sighed, "I'll tell you-" I blurted out, getting cut off by their squealing I shushed them after a couple seconds. "On one condition!" I spoke loudly still, looking at each of them for a couple seconds before looking to the other one.

They all sighed, and I knew they were planning something when they all squealed at the same time, I mean, how wouldn't I know? I've practically known them since we were all in grade one, and grade one was nine years ago.

They all nodded one at a time, which indicated that they wouldn't tell.

A sigh of relief escaped from my mouth as I opened my mouth and removed my hand away from Grace's mouth, getting ready to speak, but I couldn't but smile!

Ugh, way to go! Now they know you did see someone over the weekend!

Kendra had a big grin on her, Grace had a smirk, and as for Jordan, she had the biggest smile on her face.

I groaned, shaking my head slightly at my action then looked up at them, my smile slowly getting bigger, showing my dimples as they got deeper the bigger my smile got.

"Spill! What's their name, what school they go to, how he looks, what happened!" Kendra blurted out those as she nudged me and her grin got more bigger, moving her eyebrows up and down jokingly to make me blush.

It indeed did work, I blushed slightly as I looked down, my hair making a curtain and blocked my face again, just like earlier.

I looked up quickly, my hair flying out of my face and I looked at Kendra, my smile still big as my dimples still showed and my cheeks were a light shade of pink. "Well," I looked at her, "His name is William he goes to Crocus Collegiate," I let out the answers of the first two questions. "He has curly, short dirty blonde hair and these chocolate brown eyes, his lips a light shade of pink and oh my god, his scent-" I managed to stop myself as I realized I trailed off the question, causing me to giggle nervously.

Way to go, moron!

They all raised an eyebrow at me, each of them still having their 'smile' plastered onto their faces.

"Oh my god..." I muttered underneath my breath as I turned around to make sure no one was trying to eavesdrop on our conversation.

"Whoo! You go girl!!" Grace yelled out again, and I covered her mouth again, getting attention away from us, for the second time!

"I suggest you shut your mouth before I make you." I growled at her and she instantly froze, standing there with her eyes wide.

"Ooooo," Jordan spat out, "get some Dakota." She nudged and winked at me playfully, causing me to blush more.

"Aww!! Little Dakota has a crush!" Kendra yelled out for only us three to hear.

"Sh-shut up!" I glared at her, still blushing and my cheeks were now a medium shade of red.

Just as I was about to say something else, the bell for class rang. I sighed and uncovered Graces mouth again.

"See you guys at lunch!" We all yelled to each other as we waved, heading to our separate classes.
