Our home room teacher, Mrs.Blacksmith was in the middle of talking when the lunch bell rang.

Everyone immediately started closing their stuff and got up.

The teacher yelled at us to sit down to finish her so called "little" story that she has been telling us for about the last hour.

Honestly, I wish this would end already!

We've been listening to her break up story for quite a while now, and she even cried about five times during it, and taking a few minutes to stop.

I anxiously stayed seated in my desk, wishing the time would fly by quickly until she was finished with her story.

I moved around a lot, trying to get comfy as possible to fall asleep.

That didn't work. So I just stayed in place for a minute or so, then moved again and I started tapping my pen against my binder. I started to get even more anxious with every single second, and minute passed by. While I was waiting for what seemed like infinity, I was wasting a lot of my time, just sitting in the class when I could be having lunch right now and talking to my best friends!

Why now, out of all the times?

A faint and small sigh escaped from my mouth, thus causing me to start wandering off in my own little world.

I was happy that happened.

Then all of a sudden my name was called immediately, making me lose my little world I dozed off into and payed attention back into reality.

Great.

"Ms.Dakota, would you like to explain to me as to why people are heartbroken when they break up with their insignificant other?"

"Uhm, well..." Shoot.

"I'm waiting." Mrs.Blacksmith said in a patient but harsh tone. Kind of like when someone is mad at you but they speak to you calmly.

"I-I'm sorry... I-I wandered off into my own little world again." I managed to let the words out of my mouth, considering she knew I was very shy to talk in front of a lot of people, even it was just four.

Mrs.Blacksmith shook her head and sighed deeply. "What did I say about going off in your own little places during my class?" She asked the whole class as her hand was resting on her hip, her back facing towards us before turning around again and looking at every single one of us, waiting for a response.

"If we wander into our own little world, we'll have to stay an extra five minutes and write down why we did." The whole class spoke in sync, except for me.

"Very good." She shot a quick smile at all of us before her lips were back in a straight line. "Everyone may leave." She walked to the back of her desk, sitting down in her chair, waiting for everyone to leave.

I got up quickly, my head hanging low hoping she wouldn't notice me in the big crowd of people until I heard my name called.

So close Dakota! You should have been more faster!

I stopped in my tracks immediately and turned around, walking back to my desk until I heard her call for me to go to her desk.

Great, what now?

I motioned my feet towards her desk, stopping when I was a couple of inches away.

"You know I only called on you to help you get over your shyness." She spoke, breaking the silence between us.

I nodded my head in agreement, "yeah, I know." I spoke in a hush tone, but just loud enough for her to hear me.

"You'll get over it one day, I know you will." She spoke softly as she shot me soft smile, "You may go now. I didn't mean to keep you waiting for lunch." She apologized to me quickly.

"It's alright," I spoke yet again, a small smile was now plastered on my face. "I still have time to eat anyways, I'll see you tomorrow."

I walked away from her desk, heading into the crowded hallways to get to the cafeteria to talk to Kendra, Grace and Jordan.

Finally, after a few minutes of shoving my way through people I got to the cafeteria.

I scanned around the room, looking for them but they were no where in sight.

Outside maybe? Better hurry before you miss them.

I bolted away from the cafeteria, towards the doors that lead to the field and walked out.

I walked around a bit, scanning the area for them.

Still nothing.

I sighed in disappointment, walking back to the doors to head back to the cafeteria.

Great, just great. You missed them Dakota. Now what?

I shook my softly, making sure I didn't get dizzy for a few seconds as I proceeded to walk in the crowded hallways as my stomach growled.

Now I don't even have enough time to eat. Good going.

I put my hands over my stomachs, clenching onto my shirt and partially my stomach in hopes it would stop, but it didn't.

I let out another sigh of disappointment, while I still clenched at my shirt and part of my stomach as it growled again.

First you had to stay behind in class for a couple minutes, which caused you to miss your friends and miss lunch.

Guess you have to deal with this for the last half of the day.

I groaned as I walked quickly into the cafeteria, heading straight for the food to buy something to chew on for now.

I looked at all the stuff they had displayed, which was a quarter of it.

I groaned again, but this time in confusion and walked away.

What a great way to start off this afternoon. . .
